I tried the fast bowser fight with the cape and i watched alot of tutorials etc. and i can't even get the first phase right i'm always too early and i even ran later then suggested to get it right but nothing works is it because i run the Pal version of the game ?

It just takes practice man, try watching other runners and at what point they throw the koopa, like how far they r from bowser or how high.c they jump before and eventually youll get the hang of it

Also it might be useful to get a cartridge that u can use save states on for practice so u can do the fight multiple times without having to go through the whole game again

Yes, it's because you play on the PAL version. The physics in that release are way different. I'm not sure if anyone has made a setup for it because no one really runs on PAL (it's slower).

I know that it's slower and i will get the japanese game and console but right now it is my only way to practise it ( i just started speedrunning like 2 weeks ago)what are other things that are not possible with the Pal version like cloud glitch gaining height during flight etc. i wanne practise as much techniques as possible but i can't find any source that says which things are possible which are not in this version

Runs will be verified when we get around to it; we go through them in roughly the order they're submitted. We've been getting a lot more submissions than usual lately (probably because of COVID), so there's going to be a longer wait time than usual.

wrt version differences, @Snieggers98 I'd recommend playing on emulator to use an NTSC version if you're planning on getting the JP version instead of using the PAL one on console. Emulator would introduce some input latency but strats would be the same, whereas the physics difference on PAL changes stuff way more (that's what I had to do myself until I got the JP cart)

dude chill. You submitted your run yesterday, it'll get verified when it gets verified. Average wait-time on this site is 3 weeks, we tend to be slightly under that

Ah ok, I know that the links are optional but I don't see options to add SoundCloud, Spotify, and stuff like that. Maybe its a long term user perk, I don't know.
