In order to fix an issue we have on the leaderboards (if 1 runner have runs on real hardware + emulator at the same category is only shown the best time by default) i suggest creating another category where we're gonna put all the runs done on emulators (psp can coexist with ps1 emu since the time loads are almost the same) also somebody changed the options of hidding the emu runs by default and one of the emu runs of course was faster than the current Game Cube console WR, if you can post your arguments here please why did you do the change?

so we have affected ps1 and Game Cube emulator runs, we'll have 2 new categories and then we can show the emu runs by default once we moved those runs, i want to know your opinions about this proposing :) (this will help you if you're worried about showing the emu runs)

I agree with the change, but the runs done on psp should be put into a separate category (to make things fairer). It should also be delimited which emulators / versions / plugins / configs are allowed, to make everything more balanced.

EDIT: A new category should also be created for dreamcast runs done on emulators.

One thing I will say with this game specifically, is that load times for PS1 Emu and PSP are minutes apart. Wolf / Dudley / Ripper can probably confirm this.

There's between 30-55 secs of difference between psp and ps1 emu (that difference because i can't confirm if they were using the same emulator)

 You're right Liv, at the moment we have psp and psvita alone while on ps we have ps1, 2 and 3 not to mention that in that leaderboard you can submit emu runs too so we'll have 4 kind of runs in that. I'm gonna take this weekend to see how could look the leaderboards with the change, in case doesn't work then we can keep the leaderboards like is shown (which is good too IMO)

as far as i know the DC emulators don't run properly the majority of the games, also was proposed in a old thread long time ago, nobody use DC emulator because of that and its not a good idea add another category since the leaderboard will be too big, that coould be for a future, but right now the leaderboard looks as we have it

@julian I can hook you up with mod for the umbrela corps board if you want to test stuff. It has an empty full game board

I'm agree with this. Also I don't like when someone try to edit the leaderboard without talking first... we're a community and Julian always try to do the best in RE3. GC/emu is like 1-2 minutes faster than GC disc so is unfair for disc WRs actually.
This will be like RE2 leaderboards separating GC-GC/emu and psp/emu =) and I like it.

OK, i moved all the emu runs to a misc category where will be, feel free to check/post your feedbacks here (also those runs now are shown by default) psp is now called psp/vita for having portable consoles mixed (since i found there are a lot of emu runs done in different emulators that affect the IGT/Hardware played)

If you want to show them on your profile by default make sure check the **Show misc runs by default on your profile** in your profile settings
