- 10 stars shouldn't be a category.
- Naming categories based on requirements instead of restrictions makes rules fuzzy. I'd stick with Any% NMS.
Well we discussed within the community and we agreed on changing the name to 33 stars instead of any% NMS.
This leaderboard is following the guidelines of the Mario Sunshine leaderboard, with 10 stars being 20 shines. Any discussion is appreciated though.
I really don't know which I prefer at this point.
"No Major Skips" is clunky, yet highly descriptive. "33 Stars" is a good name, yet it is minimally descriptive.
I recommend naming the category on the leaderboard "No Major Skips" as the leaderboard should strive to use the most descriptive name it can. However, I think we should use the names somewhat interchangeably when talking about the category. If you prefer to call it one thing or another I see no reason to stop you.
I think it was supposed to be like the 3D Marios. Like 64 NMS is called 70 shine. We'd call any% 1 shine, but if we find glitches the route could change to 2 star, and 100% could be 64 shine, but it also requires star coins.
Runs which are • Sub 6:45 in Any% • Sub 26 in NMS • Sub 52 in 100% • WR in any other main game category will be required to have audio. Background music doesn't have to be enabled, but sound effects should be audible in the video.
