Pausing allowed? (Classic %)

I'd like to know if pausing the game and resuming at a later time is allowed? I work nights and gotta do things in the morning, so I wouldn't have time to run a full and complete run all at once, especially if for a noob it would be about 10 hours or more! (Classic % question)

You can do that as long as you still record/stream and you don't stop the timer while you don't play. If you're asking for ex. I play 4h, take a 2h break and then play another 3h and submit the run as if it was 7h long then no, you have to submit it as if it was 9h (Including the time you weren't playing)

the run is rta, every break you take the timer keeps on running there are missions where you can take pee breaks and get some water in between @DarkViperAU or @burhac might help you with the missions where you can take breaks on if they see this

Well, then I would have 30 hour times because of that, because I don't have the time to do a full 10 hour stream at once, unless my question was just misunderstood... Work and sleep comes first :P

Like pausing, and resuming the next day, I think I've seen some of the runners do this, like as long as you are in the same spot and same time and everything like that, it should be fine right?

As I said, I work nights and have things to do in the mornings, not enough time in the day for a full 10+ hour run.

That's not how this works. Runs are timed in real time, from beginning to end. If you take breaks, they will always be added to your time.

There's nothing stopping you from pausing your timer for yourself though, you just won't be able to submit that time to the leaderboards.
