i have my splits comparing against game time. i have the source unpack and i'm thinking the main problem is that it does not have the demo directory. (im using livesplit)
It can help newcommers to know what was the solution and how you solved it. Don't you hate when you have a problem, then you look a forum on google, and the answer is "nevermind, fixed it" ?
saying "autosplitter doesnt work" doesnt provide much background, so im gonna go through some basics.
make sure the autosplitter is actually enabled (right click livesplit -> edit splits -> activate)
once thats out of the way, go into the settings of sourcesplit (right click livesplit -> edit splits -> settings) make sure its actually enabled, set it split every map and such.
im gonna assume you have this done already, so ill leave some quick questions so someone doesnt have to later:
does the timer automatically start at the start of the run/ end automatically at the end of the run?
is livesplit actually capturing game time, or is the timer still capturing loads EVEN when you manually start the timer?
what version of livesplit are you using?
yes, when the timer does work, it ends and starts correctly, i have a 17:42. i have my splits comparing against game time, so when i start the timer it just turns the first split blue. I recently redownloaded live split hoping it would fix the problem, so i am using the latest version.
Did you compare against Game Time and have u downloaded the newest version of livesplit? check that first if u do something else
yes, i think just deactivating the autosplitter and then activating it again has been fixing the problem
In both portal and hl2 when I press activate it just says that the given key was not present in the dictionary. I'm on version 1.8.13
It was recently discovered that it is possible to set your mouse sensitivity to a value so high that the game considers it infinite, leading to several new glitchy techniques being discovered.
The rules have now been amended to ban these new techniques in both Inbounds No SLA Legacy and Glitchless.
