Hi, I only have a pal snes console. Is it allowed to mod it and use a 50/60hz switch to play the japanese version with an everdrive to submit a run?

With a super CIC board?

It'd still run slower with a lower framerate than a us/jp snes so you might be better off using emulator but I don't see why it'd be disallowed (might want to join the discord and ask there.)

At the moment I play on emulator, but I own 3 snes and thought it would be cheaper to try to mod one instead of try to buy a japanese console. I think i try it out and hope that i dont destroy the console. I update if its working. (sry, maybe this is the wrong category - maybe i should have put it in the technical corner or whatever its called)
