not really no, the gap between 2 hours and 1:20 was comparatively short time wise, but 1:10 to 1:00 was most of the progression in tech and you don't really emphasise that

Personally I think that what tricks you do is completely preference. If you have 1.0 and a 1:40 and you can do FMS and Nut Clip really well you can if you want to. Also, a couple times this guide just says "beginner" and "advanced" strats, which is a little vague. The mecha is more than just 2 different versions of the fight, there are more different strats and they can almost be mixed and matched together to create something the runner prefers.
