Language Scroll Speed Comparison

^ In the above link is a quick language comparison between Japanese, Chinese Simplified and English. Simply put, Japanese wins hands down, with 9 and 7 frames.

How much faster do you reckon the run would be when switching to Japanese?

You'd need to do this for the entire run to really prove anything, just because it's faster there doesn't prove that it's faster throughout the entire run.

That's why the disclaimer's there at the end of the video. Seriously, watch the entire thing before posting. This is just one instance of the text scrolling, the entire run will have to be checked to actually verify if it's faster or not.

I did watch the whole video, your post literally only shows one small section of the game where Japanese is fastest and you're asking "How much faster do you reckon the run would be when switching to Japanese?" as if this one example proves Japanese is always going to be faster, which your disclaimer admits isn't necessarily the case.

AFAIK no one has actually figured out exactly how much time each language saves, just that some seem faster than others. I think right now Chinese Simplified is considered fastest.

I literally put a disclaimer at the end saying "This is a small section of the game, it may or may not be faster"

The "How much faster?" in the post was just meant to incite discussion. I'm not assuming that one is faster than the other just yet.

Like I said in my previous post, assuming you actually read it, the entire run will have to be verified.

Could someone please let me know how to change language settings in this Mario Odyssey game? My 4-year old changed to Chinese or Korean and we cannot work out how to get back to English. The Nintendo system language is English, only Mario is a different language-

Open mario odyssey, click the bottom characters on the first screen, click the bottom characters on the next screen, click English which is the top.

Also, for anyone who has seen this move to the top and is wondering what language is fastest, it’s Japanese, which is about 15 seconds faster than English
