Removing Load times from the run...

So I'm aware that most people use a plugin for Livesplit to remove loading times from their runs but I just can't seem to find this plugin anywhere. Could someone give me a hand with this?

Set your game to Fallout 4 in livesplit, the autosplitter should appear, click Activate.

I did that but it's still timing the run during load screens. Is there something that I'm not doing? I've activated the autosplitter but it's: a) Not automatically starting the run and b) Not cutting out the load times.

Is there some place where I need to place some files in my Fallout 4 directory or where I need to define the location of the game files? I can't find that option though I can't imagine why it wouldn't require that.

Huh, that's weird. Are you using the unpatched steam version, and set your timing method to Game Time?

EDIT: Nvm, watching your run right now, you are using the old version, not sure what's happening then. Can I contact you through Youtube PMs or something else?

Also, what Windows are you on?

I'm on Windows 10 Pro. My YT is IAMAGUNH4XP ( https://www.youtube.com/user/IAMAGUNH4XP ) Feel free to contact me there. I'm going to upload a video showing exactly what I'm doing since words aren't really my thing

  1. are you running the correct version of the game?
  2. make sure you're comparing against game time: right click -> compare against -> game time
  3. antivirus programs love to give false positives. exclude the entire LiveSplit folder.
  4. make sure there's only one process of your game open. kill any extra ones that may be in the background with task manager.
  5. running livesplit as admin could help.
  6. if all else fails, reboot.

1.) Yes, assuming that running the game on the original patch qualifies. 2.) Did that, actually very surprised that didn't fix it. 3.) Did it. 4.) Steam won't allow more than one simultaneous instance of the application. 5.) Tried that first...

I am using v. 1.6, should I try the experimental build?

The only supported version is 1.1.30, but I assume that's what you have. PM me in Discord (@Dalet) to go more in depth. https://discord.gg/0SarUu3yU9F4KvRs

Edit: turns out it fixed itself
