I here cod fans all over the internet whining about cod vanguard and yet it's the highest selling game of 2021. Why do you guys spend money on games you don't like. The cod devs have no reason to improve because you guys will give them money even if they put in no effort. Stop buying new cods if they're not good ):
Crazily enough you can buy a game and then not like it. That being said, there's also a free beta for pretty much any cod game so you can try it out, and people complain about every game, no matter how goo it is (I mean have you seen literally anyone talking about league?
Gamers try a lot of games until they find the game they feel comfortable with. These are usually games that are more challenging and fun to play with friends. Those who say they don't like the game but buy its new version may feel hopeful that there will be new or more features. Or maybe it will be compatible with a higher version of the updated device software.
I knew vanguard wasn't going to be good, when I bought it it matched my expectations almost exactly. I then spent 2 weeks speedrunning it and haven't touched it since. I wouldn't say I dislike it though, I just enjoy speedrunning cod games. As for people who buy it for the multiplayer, idk lol.
