Due to the movements of the dashes requiring quick button presses, I cannot tell the difference between each yet they look visibly different. Can someone explain the difference in words?
A hyperdash is when you are standing on the ground, crouch (optional, crouching lowers height but increases speed), and dash then very quickly hit jump.
A wavedash, named after the tech of the same name in SSB: Melee, is when you are in the air and dash diagonally down left/right into the ground, then immediately jump once you land.
They're pretty much the same in terms of speed/distance and both have better situational uses over each other.
