Whenever I try to start a speedrun using the Demo Auto-recorder, the game just straight up crashes. I don't know where to, or whether I can, find the crash log. Also, trying to start from 53.01 using livesplit, simply restarts at 0. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, this answer was maybe a bit fast because I had to hurry. What I meant is that you should talk with the developers but if other runners experience this crash and/or want to help you, you can discuss about it. However, I've only experienced lags, but not a single crash.
It's happening consistently, so I don't know what's going on. Don't worry about the hasty reply, I understand that you're not some god who knows every single thing about every resource in portal running.
I honestly don't use both at the same time but I don't remember them to have a bad synergy
I'm not sure that it's both going at the same time, I just think it's a problem with my installation, or something on my computer. Even when I just run livesplit, the timing doesn't work. I might try using some other timing program, see if that works.
Yeah, I've had it enabled before trying to use the vault save. If I can't find a solution then I'll just live without the vault save or demo recorder, 57 seconds of nothing doesn't bother me too massively.
Starting today, runs that require video proof (top 25) and runs beyond that where video is the only form of proof, now require audio, as recording audio for only the game is now a native OBS feature.
