Getting Rid of Some Categories?

Any%, 2-Star and 100% don't really bring much to the table. The latter two do provide a LITTLE menuing (but not much), and Any% is literally just who has the faster PC. These categories should probably be deleted.

However, this would come at the cost of deleting runs from some of our more popular categories. With that being said, I don't think the people that have run said categories (myself included) care too much about those runs.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't care if the categories were deleted

Personally, anything that mainly requires a powerful PC to have a chance at beating it should be deleted, as it is unfair to those who don't have high end rigs. This being said, people may care about their runs for these catagories, so if it were possible, you could simply lock them from any new entries, or make it clear no new entries will be entered?

Like, add something like:

This category is locked, no more runs can be submitted.

Maybe Any% Glitchless?

Maryland, USA

Any% glitchless is literally the same as Any% no skips, nothing different, besides you can't really glitch FNaF anyways, despite the horrid engine limitations and what people call for Scotts coding being "Spaghettified as all living hell"

I think we should keep them up, but no longer accept runs, using Hako's idea of diplaying:

"This category is locked, no more runs can be submitted."

Next to each or somewhere on that run. This way people who want their runs keep them and its clear that no one can enter a new time, as at this point it will just be a race to whoever got the new hardware first.

Thing is, even then, in the future if everyone has powerful set ups, even with massive varieties, it won't matter because all the games are capped at 60 FPS anyways and loads will probably barely even matter anymore.

The only reason why these categories are dead is because if we take loads out, then everyone can basically get the same time and call it WR tied, but even with loads, it could still happen, just a few thousand dollars at most.

I am 100% in agreement with @SpiderHako's idea.

So, we do this for Any%, 2-Star, and 100%?

Ok than I can understand you These runs arenĀ“t About Skill just who has the best Computer. So i agree

I suggest we do a vote on it then - even though it seems to be decided. Two comments will be below. One saying "Lock" and one saying "Keep". Simply like which one you side with. I suggest this is kept to mods only vote however.
