Could we have a leaderboard for beating the game from a new save file? I just finished my first one, and it took me a few hours. There are some interesting routing choices to be made around the RNG of the gotcha machine, aided by the Deluge of seeds upon unlocking puzzle mode, and an organic challenge of how many jump orbs you have to actually tackle space with. It's certainly more of a marathon friendly type of run, and watching someone wizz through the puzzles perfectly would be pretty hype.

I was pausing and resuming my timer each time I sat down to play, but perhaps this next time I'll record it and maybe even do it in one sitting.

The game does not provide an option to wipe the save file from inside itself, but uninstalling and reinstalling gets you there.

there’s been some discussion on a potential fresh file category recently in the discord server: https://discord.gg/yxtwxaE6Ku un- and re-installing the game means the player permanently loses their endless high scores, medals, unlocks, and seed count; which is a big ask for runners. i couldn’t find any other way to reset a save with 5 netflix profiles under 1 account, but if you only have 4 profiles i imagine you can create and delete a fifth one for every attempt. the gacha game actually isn’t rng (more on that in the discord), you can get 2 great equips with 3 plays/60 seeds, and a third with 4 total plays/100 total seeds. one question that comes to mind is how much time spent unlocking equipment, equipment slots, and jump orbs is worth it before your actual attempt. if you want to see a fresh file category, recording and posting a run would be a huge encouragement! i recently did a casual run of this and i’d love to see a run with some thought and effort put into making it competitive.
