There is currently a glitch to start damage phase on the final boss by picking up one of the orbs and punching him with it. We will be treating this as a bug that will be patched for now and if a few months pass with no patch from Bungie it will be considered a feature. Until then though no runs will be verified that contain this method to start damage phase. Thank you

There was popular demand to allow the ball exploit into speedruns, I made a separate category for it until we have confirmation from Bungie on if it will be patched or not, if the exploit is not patched by the next season the two categories will be merged into a single category. I didn't want to call it any% and glitchless because glitches will still be allowed in the normal run just not the "Ball Exploit." As such the name of the category is the current patch name, if anyone has a suggestion on better names for the sub categories please post them here or in the Discord. We will not be archiving the "Ball Exploit" runs if it gets patched the runs will be deleted from the site to maintain a competitive leaderboard. Thanks again
