Got a New catagory idea

No Catch% the rules are simple you cant throw a pokeball at a pokemon to catch it. you have to release any pokemon your forced to catch. Gift pokemon or your starter are aloud. No trading so the only pokemon aloud are -Your starter -G-Max Eevee/Pikachu -Toxel -Fossils and there could be 2 different catagories depending on if the use of DLC is aloud

Antarctica

Eternatus is a forced catch but I suppose you could just box it, but still kind of negates the idea of not catching anything. The only way to avoid catching it is to have all 32 boxes full so I suppose you could breed a ton of pokemon but that sounds like hell.

Ive done Runs on this catagory but never submitted them. Since there is no way to avoid the capture even if you dont have a pokeball. and its a cutscene. you just have to release it automatically.

Another issue with this is that G-Max Pika/Eevee require a copy of Let's Go, which makes them not usable for speedruns of this game. Aside from that though, this really shouldn't be too hard of a challenge; Inteleon cleans up pretty well.

That is a valid point. But it would also prob be into to seperate catagories. Also during my runs they arent that useful. Maybe Pikachu for nessa but Toxel replaces it fast.

Antarctica

Considering Inteleon is the top any% route, the only difference this category would hold is Watch catch tutorial and Slower fire gym trial. Not saying you can't run it if you find it enjoyable, but its practically any%. And if you find yourself mainly using a different Pokemon, like you said, Toxel, then you are probably better off running Trade Alt Main Toxel or Alt Main.
