This shouldn't stand for too long if anyone more experienced tries to this category, or if I can get better luck in the back half of the run. Unfortunately, I got pretty bad luck at 1-3 with getting Mons, but that can't really be helped. And in 1-4 I think next run, I will run through the forest and try to get 1 or 2 Deerling, ignore the beach completely, and try to get 1 or 2 Scraggy and someone else from the tower. I definitely will not being doing any of the 1-4 bosses again; the time investment compared to potential reward is way too low. I the beach isn't necessary because, realistically, you only need 2 Pokémon max for each of the last 2 BRs. The Deerling for the 1-4 BR 1, and the Scraggy + other for 1-4 BR 2. I think for that reason this category could definitely have a Chapter 1 time faster than that of the any% record's Chapter 1. It'll just take some time and luck. Now, instead of just blindly doing what any% does for chapter 1, I'll do my own research and hopefully get some fruitful results.
