Summary of game:

Pizza Dude, released in 2005, is a pizza delivery game where the player takes an order, get the ingredients together, then deliver the pizza. Each pizza delivered rewards an amount of points. The amount of points is detemined by the area you delivered to. Easy and fast deliveries, such as the gas station, award around 12. 'Harder' and longer deliveries such as the Ship award around 50. After delivering the pizza the player returns the restaurant and the cycle repeats. Basic Info

It is best to do all running with Pizza Girl, as she has better acceleration. She has a slower top speed than Pizza Dude but acceleration is more important in this case. Her scooter also has a small hitbox and she cant fall over from hitting certain objects that Pizza Dude falls over (objects in the middle of the road for example).

The default controls were pretty odd in my opinion. I changed them to be more comfortable to use. This is my config. Remember that ENTER/LEAVE CAR is the same action as interacting with an ingredient.

One of the interesting parts of the game is clipping- it can be done on pretty much any surface. You drive your vehicle up to the very edge of whatever you are clipping into so that it is flush with the wall. The LEFT side of the vehicle must be touching the wall, as the player exits in that direction. From there, make sure you are completely stationary and exit the car. If done right you will teleport into the area. This is most useful for getting in and out of the pizza restaurant quicker. It can be set up quicker by handbraking the vehicle. You can watch my runs to get an idea as to how clipping helps.

Tips

When going over bridges, it is important to let go of the nitro button when going onto it and getting off of it. If you don't do this you will fall off your vehicle and precious seconds will be lost.

If you are high enough in the air, you can jump multiple times to gain more distance. This is helpful when delivering to 'El Presidente' the area with the bush maze.

Fries, the longest ingredient in the game to make, can be gotten faster by activating it when you don't have an order for fries. This makes it so you can simply activate the fries and get them instantly to begin your delivery. They can also be activated prior to an order by activating it after picking them up.

When delivering to the cliff area with the rock bridge, you can jump repeatedly back over the chasm after reaching the delivery point, instead of having to walk back over the bridge.

Strafing can be done instantly when in the air by turning the mouse left or right. This is particularly helpful if you accidentally overshoot a jump when delivering to the ship.

Some ingredients, in most cases the cheese, aren't activated right away. If you can't get the ingredient to response within several tries, get the others first then try again from an angle.

Jumping repeatedly across the ground is faster than walking.

Vehicle movement is essential in getting the fastest times. Knowing when to slow down will save you from crashes when attempting the store clip.
