Parasite Eve II - [New Game, 100% Kills] Navigation Guide - Disc 1
Updated 5 years ago by ToxicTT

This guide/collection of schemes focusing not on the execution of each battle, but on the route you need to take and preferable Weapons/PEnergy to use. Best use for it - have it opened on 2nd monitor/tablet/phone to have a glance at it between the battles.

If you find any mistakes or have any suggestions or questions, hit me up on Discord. Credits to Supergamer57 for routing this.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ FAQ:

  1. Q: What does "100% Kills" category implies? A: The most correct explanation would be: "Win 311 non-raptor battles & also kill 15 Raptors in NeoArk". Now listen carefully: -Every single of 311 Non-Raptor battles adds ~0.30675% to the total kill counter that you see in Play Data screen (aka Exterminated%). So, that would be ~95.39%+ -Then, we have Raptors, that you meet in Neo Ark - each dead Raptor ads ~0.30675% to kill counter - there are a total of 15 that you need to kill, which makes it ~4.60%+ Combine two together, you get ~100%+. IT DOESNT MATTER HOW you gonna kill Raptors - while they are all on the screen (1 battle), or in separate battles - you just have to ensure that you kill ALL of them while in the current room, BEFORE proceeding further. SO, if someone asks you "how many battles you need to win", the answer is: from 317 to 326, depending on how you deal with Raptors.

  2. Q: Which item-drops after battles do I need to pickup throughout the run? A: Recommended TO pick up: Regular Items: Recovery1-3, MP Boost1-2, Protein Capsule, Ringer's Solution, Belt Pouch. Ammo: R.Slug, Grenades (regular).

DONT pick up: Regular Items: Penicillin, Stim, Combat Light. Ammo: 9mm Spartan, 5.56mm, Firefly. Weapons: P229

If you run out of space, make sure to:

  1. have old Armor, Tonfa Baton and GPS to be IN the trunk of your car, and NOT in the inventory.
  2. if you get, for example, Recovery3 after battle, but dont have any inventory space, swap out any lesser healing items for it (like Recovery 1-2), and use these lesser items on yourself (if possible) before discarding them. Same for MP Boosts.
  • If there is a item pickup that is crucial to run completion, i'm mentioning it explicitly -
  1. Q: What happens between Akropolis Tower and Dryfield? A: Buy Turtle Vest, equip it, grab useful stuff (recoveries, grenades) and unload useless (GPS, Assault Suit, Baton) in the trunk of your car. After that - speak to Pierce and go to Dryfield.

A few things to point out:

  • Save as much MP as possible/use your PE as best as you can - try to hit as many enemies with a single spell as you can. If there are 5 strangers, it doesnt mean you need to use 5xPyrokinesis2 on them - try to group them up and hit multiply. Same goes for everything in this game.
  • Remember, that reviving PE refills your MP - but dont go ham on it, because you will need a lot of EXP in Disc2 for reviving Inferno thrice.
