Start timer at name entry confirmation. Maps for all the areas. [section=Disc 1] [big]**Ruins – Bottom Floor[/big]** Run forward, open second container on the left. You will receive Hand Gun and Elevator Key. Unlock the elevator by activating both green nodes and walking onto the platform. Do not walk onto the platform before activating the nodes or you will get an extra cutscene.
[big]**Above the Excavation[/big]** Head north taking the west path at the fork.
[big]**Excavation Site[/big]** Immediately head right and interact with the body. You can target it from “Far” distance.
[big]**Excavation Site #4[/big]** Continue forward until you get the cutscene about the fans. Head west and go into the tunnel at the end of the path. Go through the tunnel until you get another cutscene. Activate the switch and exit. Follow the path back to the fork and continue east to the next area.
[big]**Canyon Deep Gulch[/big]** Move north and fly over the downed airship. Continue north and go inside the hidden path inside the waterfall. Exit the tunnel and head to the next area.
[big]**Boss: Arachnoth[/big]** Phase 1 Move to the side of the boss and wait for it to turn towards you. After it turns, go to the opposite side. Unleash Homing Laser attacks until the boss turns again. Repeat until it uses Enrage. Phase 2 During phase two, you want to move to the middle position. Arachnoth will charge at you and bang into the wall causing it to go unconscious. Unleash Homing Laser attacks until it regains consciousness. Repeat until dead.
[big]**Village of Cainus[/big]** Talk to Gash. Say “Yes” when prompted. When prompted, choose “Crossing the Garil Desert” then quit. Leave the camp and head to the Garil Desert.
[big]**Garil Desert – Worm Lair[/big]** Go to the southeast of the map and target the orange mounds on the ground to fight the sub-boss Lathum. After winning the battle, enter the tunnel to the next area of the desert.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Lathum[/big]** Open with lasers to expose the weak spot. You may have to change positions if it doesn’t become revealed. When the weak spot is revealed, use Gun attacks against the weak spot until Lathum does Mucus Shift. Repeat locating the weak spot and attacks.
[big]**Garil Desert – Green Oasis[/big]** Head south and save the worm in the sand trap. Go further south to the newly opened passageway, collect the mauler and equip it. Go to the middle of the map and activate the ruins. Head to the northeast and break the ruin there. A cutscene will play and the path in the middle will open. Head to the path to the next area.
[big]**Garil Desert – Blue Ruins[/big]** Go north following the winding path and go all the way to the north end of the map. Access the ruins located at both the northeast and northwest corners of the map to reveal the entrance to the boss.
[big]**Boss: Gigra[/big]** This boss is split into four phases. First phase you will be faced with a Gigralyph. Continuously use Homing Laser against it until the next phase. Eventually the Gigra will emerge. Defeat the Gigralyph and stay in the safe zone behind the boss until you have 3 gauges. The Gigralyph will position itself throughout the fight. If you get positioned in the front, use all your gauges on Gun attacks damaging the boss and move to the back after you expend your attacks. Phase 3 starts when Gigra uses Cave In. Attack one arm to paralyze it and move to the front when you have gauges and continue to damage the boss, moving in and out as needed. After the boss HP is depleted, it will start the final phase. Use the same strategy as in phase 2 to finish off Gigra. Phase 3 can be skipped if you do enough damage in phase 2.
[big]**Caravan[/big]** Enter the tent directly to the right of you for a cutscene. Exit the area and go to the Forbidden Zone.
[big]**Forbidden Zone[/big]** Go around the map and access the 8 keys to the Sky Transporter’s seal. After accessing the 8 keys, head to the Sky Transporter and interact it for the final boss rush of the disc.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Craymen’s Elite Guard[/big]** Phase 1: Stay in the rear until you have 3 gauges. Move to the front and target the weak spots with your Gun. Look for the target reticle to pulse to make sure you target the weak spot. Phase 2: Move to the rear until they arm the mine. Move to the side and damage the main ship until the mine is launched. Do this 3 times, then they will reload. While reloading, stay in the back and damage the boss from there. Repeat until dead.
[big]**Boss: Atolm Dragon, Pt. 1[/big]** Stay to Atolm Dragon’s side until you have 3 bars. Move to the back and use Homing Laser 3 times then move to the side again. Repeat until dead. If Azel says “Ne-rai” and Atolm isn’t on their last hit, move to a safe spot to avoid damage.
End of Disc 1
[section=Disc 2] [big]**Caravan[/big]** Go into the large yellow tent and talk to Kou. She is to the far left inside the tent. Exit and go to Village of Zoah.
[big]**Village of Zoah[/big]** Go left and head inside the blue doors. Head left once inside and talk to the man rotating around the pots. Talk to him a second time, buy a drink, and say yes. Then ask about the empire. You will receive a picture board. Exit through the door you entered and go back to the entrance of the city to change the time to morning if it is nighttime. Go all the way to the back of the village and talk to Paet. Exit the town and head to camp if you need to heal. Head to Georgius afterwards.
[big]**Georgius[/big]** Head straight for the tornado and enter. Destroy all the repair bots avoiding the spheres that are orbiting the tornado. If you get engaged, just use escape as soon as possible. Once the tornado is quelled, collect the ship parts underneath the Shellcoof. You will automatically head back to the world map after collecting the ship parts.
[big]**Village of Zoah[/big]** Head back to Paet who will send you back to Georgius. Sell your useless junk items and buy a Sniper if you can afford it, otherwise the High Vulcan may be acceptable. Head back to Georgius and enter the ship from the new hole that has appeared.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Gunship[/big]** Damage the Gunship until the Guardian Dragon comes alive.
[big]**Boss: Guardian Dragon[/big]** Stay on the sides of the boss until you have three gauges. Move to the front and deal damage to the boss with your gun. If the boss at any point opens its plates, move to the back immediately and let loose on damage. Eventually the boss will go berserk and leave the back plates permanently open. At the point just stay in the rear and continuously damage it until it is dead.
[big]**Camp[/big]** Exit camp and you will receive the ship parts.
[big]**Village of Zoah[/big]** Talk to Paet and he will give you the location of Uru.
[big]**Uru – Southern Sunken Ruins[/big]** Head to the north of the map where there is a large rock with a keystone in the middle. Head farther north and hit the switch 3 times to rotate the tube. Head back south to the keystone and wait for the Kinoshita Whale to move in front of it and target the whale. It will Knock the keystone down.
[big]**Uru – Passage[/big]** Just pass through following the path to the north ruins getting the Free Action x3 on your way. It’ll be the right chest on the first pair of chests you see.
[big]**Uru – Deep North[/big]** When you first enter the area, you’ll be hit with a slew of enemies from Craymen’s Fleet. If you have your sniper equipped, this fight will be really easy. For the first fight, just move around avoiding the reaper and move to the front once you have three gauges and use your gun to defeat the enemy. The second and third fights are also easy. Just stay to the side and get two bars then move to the rear and use your Homing Laser to clear the waves. The final fight is just like the first except there are extra enemies. The extra enemies can be ignored as you only need to defeat the ship. There isn’t much to do here yet. Head southwest to get the first protect key, then head back to the southern ruins. Once in the southern ruins, head southwest for a planned encounter. Defeat the enemies as you would in previous fights then insert the key. Head back to the Northern ruins. Head south for the second Protect Key. Once again head back to the Southern ruins and head southeast this time. You will be greeted by another barrage of ships. Defeat them and make sure you have good health after the battle. Insert the second key for the next battle.
[big]**Sub-Boss Drenholm[/big]** This boss has a move that does around 530 damage for the first phase. Move to the sides of the boss and damage the engines until they break. Afterwards, move to rear to attack the exposed weak point. Keep doing that until Drenholm does Eye Beam. Use a Free Action immediately. Wait until the boss does Lightning Needle, then move to the side to avoid Thunderstrike. Afterwards move to the rear and continue damaging the boss, repeating the strategy until dead.
[big]**Uru: Post Drenholm[/big]** After Drenholm, head west and south and grab the first chest you see for Shield Chip x2, that will come in handy for Grig-Orig later. Head back to the Northern ruins. Collect the third and final key and use it on the ruins in the middle. Check your health before engaging the boss
[big]**Boss: Atolm Dragon, Pt. 2[/big]** This boss is very similar to the first fight except that there are now 4 orbs surrounding the boss. Take out one of the orange orbs first as they do a lot of damage, then take out the green orbs to prevent healing. Take out the boss as before. The only difference is that Atolm will now do a Lightning Storm move that can’t be avoided. It does about 470 damage.
[big]**Underground Ruins of Uru[/big]** B1F Equip your mauler or high vulcan. Head north to unlock Gate #1. Head south then west when you hit a fork in the path. At the next fork, head either direction and continue until you are on the opposite end. Enter a small room to unlock Gate #2. Head back to Gate #2 and follow the path until you reach BF2 East.
B2F East Head all the way north until you reach the end. Hit the water switch then back and fall down. Hit the next water switch. Go south until you reach the elevator back to B2F East. Head all the way south to where the B1F elevator is, but head west. You’ll head to the Underground Dome. Underground Dome Nothing to do here for now. Just head west to B3F West.
B3F West Head south to unlock gate 3. Then head all the way north following the path to B4F.
B4F/B5F Head south at the second fork. Head north at the next fork. Go east at the third fork to get the Dome Gate Key. Go back and head south until you are in B5F. Head west once in B5F all the way to the elevator back to B4F. Head to the elevator to B3F West and back to the Underground Dome for a sub-boss fight.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Energ[/big]** The boss is out of reach from normal damage. Shoot each Absorbora until all 4 are pointing at the ceiling. Build up 3 bars and laser the Absorbora until they are dead. This will kill Energ. Test: Get Tri Burst and use that.
[big]**Boss: Basilus[/big]** Equip the sniper before going into this fight. The boss has 4 fins each covered with an Absorbora. Attack an absorbora with your gun to reveal a weak point. When you have 3 gauges, move to the side to attack that weak point with your gun. Move to the front when charging to avoid taking extra damage. If Basilus throws the absorboras at you, move to the sides to avoid being in the danger zone and continue damaging the weak points.
End of Disc 2
[section=Disc 3] Go to the camp. Talk to Paet and adjust your dragon’s stats.
[big]**Village of Zoah[/big]** Talk to Abner near the entrance during the daytime for a pass to the Holy District. Enter the Holy District.
[big]**Holy District[/big]** Go to the back of the area to the orange-ish house and go inside and go into the room across from the entrance for a cutscene. Leave Zoah.
[big]**Imperial Air Force Post[/big]** Destroy the airships and avoid the spotlights. Escape from fights. The sub-boss fight will trigger after 10 ships are destroyed. I head north to kill the first 3 I see and continue north for 4 more. Then I head west from there for the last 3.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Behemoth[/big]** Phase one: Move to the west side of the battle and damage the lower engine with lasers. Phase two: Use Vengeance orbs and wait for the weak point to open up. Spam lasers until dead. Alternatively heal if you will be above 800 HP and just spam lasers when the weak point opens up. After Behemoth is dead. Head for the Control Tower and destroy it. Head north to face Deathmaker.
[big]**Boss: Deathmaker[/big]** You will only need laser for this fight. Destroy the side units first to prevent it from healing. Then continue damaging the rear. After takeoff, stay in the front or rear and continue damaging the boss. Wait between your attacks as you cannot damage it while the tail is spinning. Head to camp to heal after the boss.
[big]**Holy District[/big]** Go back to Zoah during the daytime and head inside the church for a cutscene. After the cutscene, head back to the Liberal District and talk to Paet. It will become nighttime. Head back to Paet’s ship for a cutscene. Go back to Vaiman’s house in the Holy District for the Temple Key. Go into the Church at night and go into the back room. Examine the Guardian Fire for a cutscene. Leave town and head to the next area.
[big]**Mel-Kava[/big]** Head towards the ship and you’ll be hit with a barrage of enemies. After the wave of enemies are defeated. Hit the caution target and enter the ship.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Auto Defense System[/big]** Move to a safe zone and charge your gauges. Watch for the shields orbiting the boss. You cannot damage the boss when they are closed. Move to an unsafe zone to damage the boss with your laser and repeat. After the boss is dead, return outside and head for the front of the ship.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Photon Cannon[/big]** Make sure your sniper is equipped before fighting. The weak point for the boss is in the safe zone. You can destroy it fairly quickly. After the boss is dead, move forward and head inside the Mel-Kava again. Once inside, hit one of the panels on the side to protect you from the falling particles and move upwards and destroy the reactor. On the next section, just keep destroying the break points. You’ll be moved to the deck afterwards. Destroy all the exhaust ports then enter the next room. Repeat the same as the first reactor room, but make sure to heal before destroying the reactor for the boss fight.
[big]**Boss: Atolm Dragon, Pt. 3[/big]** Immediately move to the front followed by moving to the side. After the boss fires the cannon, move to the front and damage the weak point. After that, move to the side again and attack the new weak spot. Repeat until the phase is over. Destroy 3 of the orbs, but this time they have shields that you will have to wait for. Go for the orange ones first since they can damage you. After the orbs are gone, kill the boss like before. Keep your HP high in case of lightning storm which now does about 750 damage.
[big]**Imperial Air Force[/big]** Have your Sniper equipped before entering. You will encounter a series of fights when you enter. Defeat them to fight the boss. If you get stunned, it will go away after the encounter.
[big]**Boss: Grig Orig[/big]** Open with the Shield Chip. Spam lasers until a weak point opens. Go to the weak point and use your sniper twice, then go back to using lasers and repeat. Use the second Shield Chip when the first one fades.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Spectre[/big]** Just stay to the sides or front and damage with your weapon. It cannot harm you unless you are in the rear.
[big]**The Tower[/big]** Enter to the center of the tower and ascend until you get a cutscene. Enter the door to 4F. You will face a scripted encounter that’s very easy. Just build 3 bars in a safe spot, move to the front and shoot the weak point with your gun. Holy sphere the second wave of enemies and then move to floor 5F. You will face another encounter similar to the one in 4F with the addition of Marauders. Do the same strategy for the first fight then move to the side immediately for the Marauder and take out each one with the sniper. Afterwards, just follow the passage to reach Hangar #1. The next section is basically a long, linear route through the Tower which contains no enemies, or anything of real note. The door higher up in Hangar #1 leads to 6F; there is an elevator there, which goes up to 8F North Passage. The door there leads to the lower Inner Passage. This is a moveable section going through the central area of the Tower, as you will discover when you return here later. Currently, it links 8F North Passage to 8F West Passage. An elevator in 8F West Passage will take you up to 9F West Passage. Head through the door there to continue to the higher Inner Passage, which currently links the east and west sides of 9F. Go through it to reach 9F East Passage. You will face more scripted encounters in 9F East and beyond. Take the lift at the end of the passage to reach 11F. There will be another scripted encounter. Afterwards, head to Hanger #2 and ascend to the top for the boss.
[big]**Boss: Exterminator[/big]** Immediately hit the weak point with your lasers then move to the safe zone, avoiding the dangerous zones. The danger zone will shift around, so be sure to always take the safe path. Charge your gauges and move to the rear and continue doing damage with your lasers. Repeat until you win.
End of Disc 3
[section=Disc 4] Go to the Caravan and go talk to Jephthah behind the shop. Exit the caravan and go to the Seekers’ Stronghold: Camp on the world map. Say yes when Gash asks you a question to go to the Stronghold.
[big]**Seekers’ Stronghold[/big]** Go to the entrance on the left of the screen. From there, go forward through the hallway and enter the purple door on your left to enter the shop. Sell your goods and buy the Pulverizer. Sell your weapons too if you have to, this will be the last weapon you equip for the rest of the run. Exit the room and talk to Gash across from the shop for a cutscene. Exit the room and cross the bridge. Go upstairs to the room with the hole in the ground and head right to enter the green door. Talk to Zadoc. After that, exit and go through the red door for a cutscene. After the cutscene, go down the stairs and go around to the red door in the corner. Take the northwestern door to the observation deck for a cutscene. Leave the Stronghold and go to the Forest of Zoah.
[big]**Forest of Zoah[/big]**
Go straight north and enter the cocoon to go into the forest. Go through the forest and destroy the roots of the Arangata. There are 8 of them though only 2 need to be destroyed. Return to the surface after they are destroyed. Head north and you will face a series of forced encounters. Eventually you’ll reach the Infested Grig-Orig.
[big]**Boss: Infested Grig-Orig[/big]** The fight will start out with the boss spawning 2 talons. Destroy them as soon as possible then move around to find the newly opened weak point and damage it with your gun until it closes. Repeat until the next phase. In phase 2, stay to the sides until you have 3 gauges then move to the front to damage the weak point of the cannon. Don’t move to the front while its charging. Every 3 cannon shots, the boss will spawn a parasite to put STOP on you. Recover immediately and continue as normal. After a few hits it will open its limiter and reposition you and attack without any room to dodge. Damage the boss as soon as you get hit then move and use Shield. Repeat until the boss is dead. Head back to the stronghold after the boss is dead. Go into the building and talk to Gash for a cutscene. Choose “Yes” when asked. Exit the stronghold and head to the Underground Ruins of Uru. Navigate to the Underground Dome then take the door opposite of where you enter the dome. Head to the end of the hallway and fight the monsters. Go back to the stronghold and talk with Ladha near the entrance inside the building for a cutscene. Exit the camp and go to the tower.
[big]**The Tower[/big]** Descend once you enter for a cutscene. Ascend and take the east entrance to go to 15F East 1. Follow the path until you reach the elevator and take it to 14F East. Follow the path to the next elevator to go to 15F East 2. Go to the end and hit the switch to disable Rotor Pile #1. Head back to the center of the tower. Descend and target the Rotor Pile #1 to deactivate it. Continue down until you are stopped again and take the west door to enter 14F West (It’s incorrectly named as 14F East.) Hit the switch and deactivate the second Rotor Pile. Exit, disable the second Rotor Pile, and descend to the 13F near the save point. Follow the path and take the elevator down to 12F and go to Hangar #2 for a sub-boss fight.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Twin Guardians[/big]** Very easy fight. Just wait for the two guardians to separate then go behind the grey colored guardian and use lasers until it dies. After the boss is dead, descend to 11F. Just keep going and avoid the lasers if possible. It will sound an alarm causing constant encounters until you disable it. If you get hit, there’s a device that’ll disable the alarm. You’ll will run across Sentinels that appear if you break the blockage incorrectly. You can either fight or run. Time your shots to make the rotating top fit into the bottom to avoid the fight. Descend to 9F East from the elevator and just continue forward until you reach the middle of the tower. Hit the column in the middle to rotate the pillars to open the passage to 9F West. Take the elevator to 8F West. Follow the path to 8F East and destroy the Energy Pylons to create a path to 7F East. Follow the path to the elevator up to 8F East. Hit the switch and break the pylons to go 7F South. Follow the path and take the elevator to 8F West. Take a right at the first fork and a left at the second fork and hit the switch. Exit the room and go north. Break the pylons to get to 7F West (mislabeled as 7F East.) Grab the Ambrosia from the left chest if you don’t have one already, then exit to the center of the tower and ascend to 8F North. Follow the path to Hangar #1 for a sub-boss fight.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Battle Droid[/big]** Move to the opposite side of where you start the fight and just use the gun on the weak point until its dead. Be sure to go in at full health because the attack it does will kill you in 2 uses. After the battle, go to the lower section and enter 5F. Follow the path, go right at the fork and use the elevator to get to 4F. Go right at the first fork and deactivate Rotor Pile #4. Go west to the bottom floors of the center of the tower. Turn off Rotor Pile #4 and descend to 3F. Turn left at the fork in 3F and follow it all the way around until you find the switch to deactivate Rotor Pile #5. Go back the way you came to avoid a lot of sentry lasers. Exit to the central area and deactivate the Rotor Pile. Descend to 2F. Take a right at the first fork in 2F and hit the switch. Exit the room and go right. Keep going until you reach a turn on your left and take it. Follow the path and take the elevator to 3F. Hit the switch to deactivate the Rotor Pile #6. Take the path back to the central area. Descend and deactivate the Rotor Pile. Continue down to 1F North. Follow the path to enter Sestren. In Sestren you will have to face 5 Anti-Dragons. Each one has a different strategy. Change to Agility/Spiritual before engaging for cheaper Berserk moves.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Anti-Basic Wing[/big]** Stay out of the red and damage the enemy with your gun until it dies.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Anti-Valiant Wing[/big]** Same strategy as Anti-Basic Wing, but danger zones will shift so move accordingly.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Anti-Stripe Wing[/big]** Same strategy as before, but you only have 1 non-dangerous zone now. Be sure to go in with high HP to avoid dying.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Anti-Panzer Wing[/big]** Wait until the dragon morphs before attacking to deal more damage. Same strategy as Anti-Stripe wing afterwards.
[big]**Sub-Boss: Anti-Eye Wing[/big]** Start with Shield then damage the boss and heal with Genesis when you get low. It will only spam berserk moves and it hits like a truck.
[big]**Final Boss: Sestren[/big]** In phase 1, just destroy each orb and skip the cutscene that comes with it. Hold 3 gauges for the final orb to take 2 into the next phase. In phase 2, the weak point is the spectral Solo Wing flying around in the front. Stay in the rear and build up 3 gauges then move to the front to damage the boss with your gun. After a while, Sestren will change its pattern and will unleash ghost dragons. Just stay in the safe zone until it changes back, then continue as normal. After you deal enough damage, it will transform and enter phase 3. In phase 3, all the zones will start out safe. Each zone will change to red one by one. Stay in the green as long as you can. When all the zones are red, Sestren will start throwing old bosses at you, dealing large amounts of damage. During this phase, just use Berserker Rage until the boss is dead. Use Ambrosia after you get hit by the Shellcoof to restore your BP as well.
