A couple tips and time saves. (In Progress)
Updated 1 year ago by Darkrainnn

Thank you for looking at my guide for this um game, excuse my tendency to put more info in than needed it's a habit I'm not planning on breaking. For this game there doesn't seem to be any reason to make a guide for every individual level, or a guide in general but I don't expect everyone to sit down an watch a almost 2 hour Paw Patrol speedrun to learn where all the time-saves are at when they could be running the game. (Updated: 10.8.22)

I am mainly gonna be putting in small time saves that I figured out how to do decently consistent. I will be editing this and adding onto it overtime. As well as anything new that has been discovered. (Which really can't be a whole lot.) If you see any errors or would like to add in something please message me!

To make it a little bit more easy, I am gonna put a little reference table here. It will explain some of the phrases I plan on using throughout this little guide. There will be maybe two or three phrases. I just wanted to get them explained right away so I can do less typing later.

• Single Net Jump - When playing as Chase, he has the ability to shoot out a net onto a small empty area. Which allows you to progress past a tall wall with a high double jump. This trick can be inconsistent at times, until you get a feel for it. Whenever you are halfway to the net, jump, then wait for the peak height of that jump an do a double jump onto the net. If done correctly you should hit the wall and then there is 2 ways of it working. If you watch my runs, its very very consistent if you remember the visual ques. A perfect Single Net Jump will be as close to the net as possible when hitting the wall. (Updated: 11.16.21, 10.8.22)

One way is gonna be a fast drop an then instantly jump over. The other way is you'll slowly descend an then instantly jump (descent height varies). Saves time either way.

• 30-Second Rubble Skip - This is the whole reason I am even here making this guide an running this game. I discovered this Beautiful skip while I was playing the game casually for Achievements on my Xbox (I'm a Achievement Hunter) But I just happened to press the jump button at the literal correct moment to get this accidentally. On mission 10, about the middle of Rubbles segment you will have to pull down a boat, after this boat you’ll be approaching a mini-game that has you match the shaped rocks to the correct spots. Well there’s a slight dip at this spot that allows you to jump right over the invisible trigger that loads the mini-game up allowing you to run right over the empty holes an saving roughly 30 seconds. The spot to jump over is right at or before the line that the rocks make as they are about to dip down, make sure to double jump at the peak of the first jump. If done correctly you will keep on progressing the mission. [Will attempt to add photos if possible](Updated: 10.8.22)

• Rope-Pull Skip - This is my newest skip I have discovered, honestly one of the easiest to do as well. I had wondered if it was possible, and well it damn sure is. Each Mission there is always a few spots on the route that makes you have to either open up a door by a rope, or pull a crate up, etc. Unfortunately I haven't found a skip for those ones, other than just precise jumping with the crates if it is sitting on a platform after pulling up. But in Missions 11, 12, 15, and I think 16 you never have to pull up that platform again. You just keep running past the point where it asks you to press the "a" key, just jump at the edge then at the peak of that jump do your double jump up onto the edge of the other side. As long as you never press the "a" or equivalent key, you'll skip that entire sequence. Saving you 10 seconds at the very least each time you perform this skip. I guess oversight on their part not realising you can just pass that entire thing. (Added: 11.16.21 Updated: 10.8.22)

Biggest things to remember for EVERY mission and the game in general:

• Is try to avoid as many Golden Paws as possible. They make you lose time regardless. I regrettably did not realise this until it was too late. I have not figured a way to save separate copies of a specific save file. I am not super tech savvy, but I'm sure there's a way to save another copy of paw patrol on a separate drive. Might look into other games that are using the same engine, if I remember an get to it...(Updated: 11.16.21, 10.8.22)

• Secondly the best time possible will only be possible on PC, I have ran this game on a Xbox one and there is literally no way to get lower than a low 1:57 maybe a 1:56. So not worth trying to run on a console. At least Xbox, I’m not sure about Switch, PS4, PS5, or the new gen Xbox.

• I have realised that the "a" key for jumping is a lot more consistent then the space bar, at least in my own opinion. I will warn you though it will not allow you to do the Single Net Jump skip with Chase, I have found that out sadly. (Added: 11.16.21)

• Lastly is just a tip I couldn’t figure out where to put. But Mission selection can be very optimised. You really wanna look for the shield to stop spinning for a second. That means the menu is about to load up. After the freeze you can tap the right key to get the game to select the next mission efficiently. Takes awhile to know exactly when to do it or you can mess up a run. The most fluid would be instantly starting the next mission the moment the screen comes up.

Mission 1 - Save the Ducks • You really want to try an stay as low as possible throughout the mission, resist doing as many double jumps as most all platforms are easily reached by a single jump. • There are 2 Single Net Jumps possible, and they tend to be the easiest to do. • Remember while in the maze your first initial route is to go up, right, down an then the rest is easy. (I’ll be more in-depth later) •World Record pace will hit the Pond with the Ducks around 4:45-4:47 give or take, any higher a the first mission isn't optimised. Mission 2- Save the Sheep

Mission 3-
