Emu choice

Whatever emulator narrowtomato used for their current WR is much less laggy than the others in submitted runs. Testing against bizhawk (myself) and retroarch/beetle (spudhimself's current run), levels like hate tank and collide are much slower than in whatever narrowtomato used.

Haven't had the chance to test on real hardware, if anyone knows whether those levels lag severely there too.

I would be in support of choosing an emulator such as Bizhawk that is known for accuracy (with the right settings) so the playing field is level. When I did my "WR" run I was very new to speedrunning and didn't really consider how the emulator would affect the speed.

I haven't used retroarch/beetle, don't know much about that.

I have been learning Metroid Fusion recently and they require Bizhawk with specific settings for accuracy. The link to the thread explaining the settings is below. I know this is for GBA, but a lot of the settings could be similar for PSX, just something to consider.

Thoughts? I'm perfectly fine with removing my run if we think my emulator choice drastically impacted my time.
