This is a small guide that aims to answer some of the more common questions that are asked in the speedrunning Discord. If you have any questions not answered by this guide, join the discord and ask!

What is the easiest/best category to start running? The easiest category would probably be any% no Out of Bounds (OoB). There are a lot of (hard) OoB glitches in the normal any% route that make it considerably harder to learn. Alternatively, there is Main Quest Order which does all of the main quest line in the intended order without going OoB.

I enabled debug and now i get these weird numbers in the bottom left. What is that and how do I disable it? This is something called "Simple FPS" and can be toggled on and off via the debug menu. It should look something like this:

There are two ways to disable this: The first is by going into the debug menu ( press 8 ), then go to Performance. Look for "simple fps" in the top left of the menu and disable it. The second option is by adding some startup options to the game. This can be done either directly in steam or via a shortcut. The settings are: "--enableDebug=true --profilingSetting:EnableSimpleFPS=false". Do note that you should remove the wispsDebug file in c:\moon for this to work.
