Basics of Being a Swift Duck

## Begginning

Make sure you've played the entire game before speedrunning, why would you not anyways.

If the game is out of your skill range then you'll have to train and get better.

Make sure to have a Timer to measure how fast you're going. Like Livesplit, although splits aren't needed since touching the checkpoint loses time.

## Choose a Category

Every Game has it's categories and obyab is no different. You can choose between 0m to 100m or 0m to 200m both having glitchless and glitched versions. (This might change in the future due to updates)

After you choose a category play it and get at least 1 sucessful run, and keep training to beat (or try to beat) your previous times.

## Skips

Obyab has tons of Skips, like The Tree at 0m or The Tree at 23m. Training and discovering these tricks save a lot of time and are necessary to get Amazing Runs. Don't forget that there are still Skips to Find and Do!

## Getting Good

To get good at any game you have to train your movement, memorization and anger.

Training your movement is as simple as finding better ways of moving and practicing them, this part can be extremelly frustrating at times.

Training your memorization requires Focus and Time, whitout time you don't have enough time to memorize, whitout focus you can't memorize.

Training your anger requires controling your mind, taking a small break helps you get better.
