This is a split file for LiveSplit that includes all splits for all doors for the current route as of June 4th 2025. The splits are grouped into subsplits to represent the current section. Make sure to adjust this to your needs and add choose "Subsplits" in your layout for the section names to properly display.

# Intro

I upload these savegames in case it helps someone to practice some particular section of the game without having to play the whole game until each section. For example, the first savegame, "corridor_prologue_homm", may help you practice dying fast in the prologue, and the savegame "courtyard_queen" should help you practice killing the second Queen.

# Usage

To use some ".sav" file you need to rename it to "gameN.sav" where N is a digit between 0 and 9, and copy it to the folder where the savegames are stored. That way, the Nth savegame will be replaced with "gameN.sav". The savegames should be stored in the folder where Steam is installed, and from there you go to "userdata\\{some_number}\\254460\\remote". I'm currently making a tool to manage savegames easily, when I finish it I might share it here.

# The savegames

These savegames correspond to the usual path in speedruns, to be precise it's the path that I follow in my runs. Except for "mord_acid", which is saved in the room with the hole from which the crab comes, the purpose of that savegame is to practice the part where you fill the cup. The savegames are the following (in chronological order):

- **corridor_prologue_homm**: saved in the corridor outside of Dan's room, just before being killed in the prologue
- **cafeteria**: the room where Josh, Ashley and Shannon appear right after the prologue
- **courtyard_classrooms**: central courtyard, just before going to the classrooms building and meeting Stan
- **mord_acid**: the room with the hole, just before the room with acid and biters
- **office**: Friedman's office just before solving the puzzle of the map
- **library_janitor**: Library, just before talking to Friedman
- **infirmary_admin**: Sick bay, just after meeting Miss Wickson
- **amphitheatre_queen**: hallway of the amphitheatre, before watching the cutscene where the characters check the photos where Herbert doesn't age
- **boiler_basement**: the boiler room in the basements where the protagonists appear just after going down the stairs of the elevator in the amphitheatre
- **big_door_dormitory**: big door just after releasing Kenny, before going to the dormitory
- **courtyard_queen**: central courtyard, after letting the safe fall through the chimney, before going to kill the Queen
- **courtyard_library_walden**: central courtyard, after killing the Queen and before entering the library for the second time
- **courtyard_film_24**: central courtyard (first floor), after exiting the library, before going to watch the film 24
- **big_door_garden**: big door before opening it and going to the garden/woods
- **garden_house_shoms**: the house behind the iron door, before spawning the two Semi Hommes Arbre
- **laboratory_homm**: laboratory behind the second door of the room of the savegame "corridor_prologue_homm"
- **greenhouse_queen**: greenhouse room after killing the biter and taking the shotgun ammo, just before going to kill the third and final Queen
- **cell_lever**: cell where you find the lever to activate the statuettes mechanism, Kenny is injured
- **room_with_door**: room with the door, just before Leonard's fight, Walden's healing items and ammo not taken
