Because loading times vary between consoles/platforms, we account for that by adding a pre-determined amount of time to runs done on platforms with shorter loading times, equal to the approximate time saved due to these shorter loading times. This is to make it fair to those who have a console with slower loading times. I hope I was clear!
Yeah, but they're sorted by the time with loads instead of by time without loads, and the time without loads removes inconsistencies in loading between consoles
edit: And for some reason the ties on the leaderboards are screwed up. The tied players don't share a rank on the leaderboard but if you click on the run it shows the correct rank.
edit again: it's because the sorting of times was changed across the IL boards too which screws them up because they don't usually go by that
Sorry for the misunderstanding! Time without loads doesn't actually remove all loading times, it just lacks that extra time that is appended to runs made on the faster platforms. So time with loads is in fact the correct one to sort by, as it is the one with the added time, thus removing inconsistencies¤ between the loading times of different consoles.
EDIT: ¤Well, it's only an approximation, but it helps.
EDIT 2: Really? The ties works for me. Are you on mobile? I'm on desktop so it could be mobile exclusive for some reason.
Sorry that the naming is confusing. Unfortunately there's no way for us to change the text for with/without loads. We were planning on calling them "real time" and "adjusted time" or something to show that one column had the loading times adjusted.
Hi everyone, please read below for information regarding some important changes to video proof and emulator timing.
As of September 12th 2022, runs for all categories will require video proof to be verified on the leaderboard. Previously video proof was only required for Any% runs, however we are
