This guide shows one version of the route, simplified to the absolute basics, and there is ample room for variation/improvement. This route works for all versions (Wii/Switch/PC).

Possible route variations:

• The shmup can be done at any time.
• Jeane's mini-game can be shifted a bit later, but not too late as you might accidentally lock yourself out of finishing it before the end of the run.
• Kimmy/Revenge Missions can be done at any point after getting all of the gym upgrades, but Kimmy must be fought before beating Alice as she cannot be accessed after Alice is dead.
• The Getting Trashed money grind can be done in different ways and at different points, depending on preference.
• This route breaks up the money grind into chunks throughout the run and between Revenge Missions, but as stated before, this is only one version of the route, and it is not mandatory to handle the money grind this way. Get the money in any way that suits your playstyle while still being fast.
• Naomi's katanas can be bought right before Cloe, but could be bought later depending on you katana preference, i.e. if you want to use the MK-III to the end instead of the Blood Berry. The Blood Berry is potentially faster, but the MK-III can be more reliable/easier depending on skill/practice.
• 100% requires the Muscle shirt, which only appears in the shop in a NG+. As a result, you must start a NG+ file and fight Skelter to access the shop and buy the shirt.
