Btw, does MW has some sort of NG+ category?

Kinda, if you consider getting 10k cash extra at the start as NG+ (if you have an underground2-file on your memory card you'll get 10k extra for supporting need for speed).

Well we can consider that the new glitch I found could be useful in a segmented NG+ run, so with the extra 10k cash, it could become a real category, as the time gain should be quite big. (like 15mins, maybe more).

That's not that much in a 10 hours run :) I'll add it later if someone will be really interested in doing that.

We'll have to compare that when I'll have my segmented run done. I feel confident atm to do a sub 9h overall. I said before that it could be a real category, but I'm not even sure tho, because even if that makes you gain a lot of time, I don't think many ppl will find some interest doing it, it's not how NFS games are done.

I saved around 1 minute comparing to my one-shot, so it's quite good. It's not pefect tho, you'll see some mistakes and/or just some thingd I could've done better

I think it's more than "not bad". Driving is very clean and you're using best line as much as possible, so apart from some crashes to obstacles, it's very good and I really like it.

Tho I'm on 360, so I can't setup graphic quality to remove some obstacles, and sometimes it's faster to hit them than avoid them.

On this segment I lost 10-15 seconds on cops chase, and maybe 5 secs on races to be perfect, that's why I said it's quite good but not excellent.

@JessicaSix : The game is early 720p, as it was one of the very first games on X360, and it was basicly developped for other platforms than this one. This version is just the PS2 one with 720p-ish textures, dynamic light and shadows, and a farther sight distance.

Oh I thought that cop chase was intended to score some bounty. You should have avoided that in a segmented run.

I know that I would have avoided it, but I only talk about the short moment I lost the cops, not after.

I thought about doing it again, but the problem is that I would've needed to have again a perfect sprint race and perfect cops RNG during this race (because otherwise I have to go to the BL menu to start a pursuit, and in the run I didn't have to, so I gained 5 secs).

I said I will not drive too many hours a day, and this race was the longest one for me to get a nice run. The race in itself was ok but not perfect, but the cops RNG was just epic. And I didn't have motivation to retry it till it's the same.

I maybe miscalculated my time loss tho. I lost 2-3 seconds due to my early escape, and a few other ones because the pursuit lasted a bit too long. If this thing happens in a similar way later in my tests, I'll try to do better, but it won't be systematic.

I'm not sure about what you meant, but that is not changing my plans. I made a routing, It's made to be used ^^ The Golf is :

1. Well-balanced
2. Heavy enough to destroy police cars (at least when you hit them correctly, but this is the challenge)
3. The fastest car overall 3-bis) Because you'll never have to come back to level 1 (apart from zone unlocks).

If only we could've unlocked the Elise after #9, it could've been just a great timesave....

And, how could've lost 1 minute on the cop chase? Did you skip the 2 mins milestone?

I didn't gain any bounty in this 1st pursuit, and I think it's useless to try to get extra bounty in the 2 first heat levels. You don't get enough bounty to count on it later in the game.

Yeah, heat level 1-3 are not good for saving bounty for late-game. Just not worth the time.

Level 3 can be ok if it's possible to gather some cops at the same place, but it seems difficult to time it correctly, it demands some luck too.

Speaking of luck, I can already tell you that I will lose a few seconds in the 2nd segment, because in the only race with maximal cops chase, I didn't have any cop presence, and I drove like 4 hours in this race, so I gave up. Anyway that's just a 5 seconds loss or something like that, so it's not that big.

I had some problems in this one due to cops RNG, they never spawned when I wanted, so I had to start a pursuit in the menu, losing a few seconds.

Apart from that, it's pretty good, just some little loss of time due to jump landings in majority.

1. Isn't there a Performance tuning options? Since you have suspension and nitrous, you should use it unless I'm missing something.
2. I've noticed you sometimes "forget" about your nitrous tank, which gets full.
3. You should never use speedbreaker, it's slow.

1. There is, I plan to do it when I'll equip the turbo next time I go in the shop, so I can go in this menu only once.
2. Sometimes I forget, but most of the time it's just that I don't think it's worth, because I'll have to brake harder. 3)On this point I gained a little bit of time, because I was at full speed for the next straight (40km/h difference) and so I didn't have to burn all my nitro for next turn. This turn is most likely the only turn in the game I use it, otherwise I find it useless.

2. Well, you do that on straights as well.
