This routing will stay up to date with the most recent strats discovered. This routing should help you achieve consistent sub-80 minute times. Good luck running!

Commentated run:
Setup
Currently, loading times are counted into the time of the run. To reduce this, play on the GameCube version, which seems to have shorter loading times, and play without a memory card. This will again reduce the loading times. You will however need to quickly answer "Continue without saving" before every level and every cutscene.
Select Easy difficulty. This difficulty gives you the most health, and there is no known advantage of selecting higher difficulties.
Have a dry controller ready, a bottle of your favorite drink and let's go!
Level 1: Suspect: Andre Serena
Break the computer right behind you and collect 50$. Kill the two guys in the room and exit.
- RNG 1: Hallway Skip Go through the door before the second guy enters.
- RNG 2: Both guys enter the corridor Kill both guys and exit. In the kitchen, go immediately right, get on top of the kitchen vent, and collect the 50$.
Tip: by turning away from the ledge, you can jump-punch onto the platform with the 50$ without holding onto the ledge.
Get through small opening, push button, exit building.
If this fails, go through the hallway, enter cold room. Open door to the right in the corner opposite the entrance to the cold room, and collect 50$ inside. Defeat Serena using the BBB combo, and finish him off with a BBB+.
Level 2: Suspect: Nikki Jameson
Go up the stairs. Break the glass and grab the shotgun and 50$. Kill the robot. Go into the next room, kill the three robots using the concussion rifle. Go into the next room.
Pump jumps to get to the bridge. Jump onto the bridge and activate the button. Jump between the bridge fence and the pipe and then land on the floor. This avoids a landing animation. Grab the ledge of the cylinder on the corner of the bridge in front of you. Exit the room. Go down the stairs, and through the passage on the right in front of the fire wall to find the button to shut the gas off. Before retracing your steps, go find the shotgun, 25$ and health right behind the pipes on the other side. Kill both robots, and exit. In the next room kill all robots, and exit. In the next room, same thing, but attempt a skewer
Level 3: Everybody Runs
Jump down to the first floor towards the exit.
Tip: Try to hit the desk on your way down to avoid landing animations.
Approach the exit until you hear a warning sound, indicating the trigger has been activated. Retrace your steps, and go up the large spiral bridge. Go find the ready room, and kill the yellow precrime only using two concussion rifle shots. Grab his key card, the shotgun in the room, the concussion rifle in the armory, and exit the level.
Level 4: Bear's Cave
Corner Moseley immediately and kill him first. An effective combo is alternating ABB and shotgun shot. Kill the rest of precrime using with heavy use of the concussion rifle while they're on the ramp.
Level 5: Jetpack Escape
Immediately activate the jetpack (double tap jump) and exit on the second floor, in front of you, to the right. Go through the tunnel. When arriving to the next train station, go directly up the stairs and kill three precrime there. Four new precrimes will appear. Kill three of them. Enter the door from which the precrime came, and pick up the machine gun at the end of the tunnel, and exit by the parallel tunnel on the other side. Drop to the plaza below. Kill three of the precrimes there using the machine gun. Immediately fly straight ahead and upwards in the next plaza. Pick up 25$ and the machine gun. Kill the two Precrime in the sniper nest. Drop down below and kill 3 more red Precrime. There is a delay before the level ends. Use that time to collect 3x25$ that dropped, the 25$ and machine gun hidden behind the glass, and exit.
Tip: To drop down faster, deactivate your jetpack and reactivate it right before hitting the ground (or you will die).
Level 6: Welcome to Mall City, Mr. Anderton
Leave the subway station, and break the glass into the control room. Break the glass inside the control room to access and activate the button behind quickly. Activate the button on the left wall of the next room. Kill the three security officers (only) which spawn after activating the button. Go through the door opened by a security guard, and follow the corridor. Go straight ahead to the security guard office, and kill the 2 big guards which come out of the storage room. A security guard will open the exit. Exit.
Tip: The big security guards are dangerous. A safe and quick strat is to aggro them into a corner, and repeat jump-punches, which will damage several of them simultaneously.
Tip: Use the machinegun to damage the enemies you know need to be killed to mark them and keep track of them.
Level 7: Mall City Courtyard
Jump to the left of the bridge. Pick up the 25$. Climb the waterfall structure, then go left once on the building ledge. From there, jump onto the bridge below. A setup is to have the stick point left, then left down, then down, at specific times. Practice this. Do a single kick to break the air vent. Pass the vent section in 2 cycles. Get the 25$ to the left before the exit, then break the vent grid exit with a slide tackle. Jump in zig-zag on the glass platforms to grab the 25$ and the machine gun. Drop down on the flowerbed to avoid a landing animation. Defeat all enemies in the room and exit.
Level 8: Mallrats
Defeat all enemies. Grab the 25$ on top of the staircase in front spawn.
- Tip: Stay close to the escalator. There is high traffic of enemies going up and down, so you can get rid of most of them there. The last enemy before the elevator thugs typically spawns on the second floor, opposite the toilets.
Level 9: Dreamweaver Theater
Pick up the shotgun by the bar. Defeat the robot and two security guards, a door will open. Kill the robot and security guard appearing. Go find and kill the final robot in the corner of the annex room, grabbing the 100$ first.
Tip: Shoot the robots when standing below or above their level, this increases the chances of a single shot kill.
Level 10: Home Again, Home Again
Go into the living room and grab the concussion rifle (unless you have 20+ ammo remaining). Exit the apartment, and go left into the corridor. An elevator to your right will open, kill the three Precrime inside. The door at the end of the corridor will now open, so you can exit. Break the door to the right in the hallway to grab an impact shotgun inside before exiting.
Level 11: Lobby
Kill 6 out of the 7 enemies which land on the bridge. Grab the 25$ in the control room, activate the button, and jump off the fence of the bridge. Exit.
Tip: Shoot enemies as they lower from the ceiling, and throw them over the fence for insta kills.
Level 12: Skybridge
Purchase face smash, in case you run out of ammo. Eliminate all the first precrimes that appear, but leave one with a sliver of health. Go to the center of the level, and from there shoot the weak precrime. You are now well position to pick off 1 or 2 of the precrime dropping down. Kill them. Kill the yellow precrime that appears at the end of the room. Exit. Drop down, and follow hallway to the right. Take the elevator. Run out of the building.
Tip: You can see the shadow of John before he exits the elevator, this helps you make sure he doesn't get stuck in a corner.
Level 13: Rooftop Battle
Eliminate the first 6 enemies.
Tip: Throw enemies off the building to kill them quickly.
Climb the stairs. Lure one precrime from the stairs out to the rooftop. Pick up the wasp launcher on the first big vent while keeping the precrime in the field of vision. Pick up the machinegun. Defeat all four precrime, keeping at least 20 ammo for the machine gun, and pick up the wasp launcher which should drop from the precrime from the staircase.
When Witwer appears, lower his health a bit below half using the machine gun (~20 ammo), then shoot him at close range using the wasp launcher. This will kill him and he will drop a grenade launcher.
Grab the grenade launcher. Down the airship. It takes damage only on its weapons, of which there are 2 on its side, and one below the nose. When moving, only the wasp launcher is somewhat effective at dealing damage. When standing still, use the grenade launcher or the machinegun at medium-close range.
Tip: If out of ammo, there is a grenade launcher and 50$ you can pick up behind the garage door.
Tip: At this point you should still have 3 puke grenades from lvl 1. Right before the airship is unloads precrimes, you can hit it with the puke grenade, which will force the airship to move. If the precrimes are deployed while the airship moves, they will fall and die, dropping nice weapons. You then have time to shoot the airship once with a regular grenade before repeating. Do this with all your puke grenades to litter the level with weapons which will help for a swift fight.
Tip: Use the C-stick to change aim on the ship.
Level 14: Lair of the Spyderbot
Follow the first tunnel to the very end, on the left is a machine gun that you grab. Backtrack to the last junction. Keep going straight. When you see a pit in front of you, run straight into it (do not jump to avoid landing animation). Grab the shotgun and 50$, then grab the bars close to the wall, then to a perpendicular jump-punch to get back on top without an additional ledge grab. Exit.
Tip: Use the ABB combo to quickly break down the bars.
Level 15: Steriflux Pumps
Take the shotgun which is right behind the first pipe on your right. Drop down into the water (this makes you run faster) and run past the last pipe. Climb the ledge to the left. Shoot down the two red bois using 2 concussion rifle shots or 1 grenade. Climb the ledge, and suffer through the long process of going to the other side, using fast ledge travel.
Once on the other side, jump over the sewer river to grab 25$, run past the sewerfall, get down in the water. Jump off the ledge into the water below. Before you land, click pause and buy the invincibility shield. Once on the bottom, run straight to the door on the right. Defeating all the thugs coming out of the corridor and grab the 25$ they drop. Go through the door at the end of the corridor, grab 25$ and kill all the spider bots. Activate the four buttons in the following room, and exit.
Tip: bottlenecked enemies are easier to defeat due to increased chance of ragdoll damage.
Tip: Crouching and using B is an efficient way of killing spiderbots.
Tip: You can jump across the reactor in the center to go between the platforms where the buttons are.
Level 16: Searching for Iris
Kill all robots. Auto-aim has trouble with the first robot, so aim at it manually to get an early shot in. Grab the shotgun inside the glass in the first room. Grab the shotgun directly to the right after exiting the first room. Kill all robots.
Level 17: Greenhouse
Pick off 3 of the first 4 enemies dropping down. Grab the concussion rifle that the red boi drops. Wait for the next two red bois on the left door at the ground floor, and kill them. Kill everyone in the next room, grabbing the machine gun as needed. Run to the end of the level.
Tip: Depending on your health, you can kill the yellow guy last, his explosive spiders also damage his colleagues.
Level 18: Botanical Garden Bash
Kill the green and red precrime who guard the door. Kill all the enemies in the next room, using killer trees.
Tip: Kill the shotgun precrime first. In open spaces, shotguns are very annoying.
Level 19: Fossil Room
Kill the first 4 enemies, with help from the killer tree. Kill the red precrime that shows up. Grab the 25$ at the base of the stairs. Kill all the enemies in the following room. Grab the shotgun on the second floor before killing the last enemy, who drops a key card. Exit (you do not need to pick up the key card). In the next room, kill 1 enemy on the bridge. Grab the shotgun by the entrance to the Fossil Room before exiting the level.
Level 20: Japanese Gardens
Kill all the first enemies. When the door opens, kill the enemies at the end of the next room (the first two enemies need not be killed). Go through the spider room. Go into the hallway in the corner, pick up 50$. Buy the Side Snap Kick combo which is useful to kill enemies in tight quarters. Kill all enemies, but save ammo for the last part. Kill the two robots using the machine gun (around 30 rounds each), and the yellow precrime. Exit through the small room the robots spawned from.
#Level 21: To The Sprawl Enter tunnel straight ahead, take first right. At the big room, take a left, then right. At this point, you need to pass three rows of sewage falls.
- Wait for the sewage to stop falling. It's left, right, left.
- Attempt a clip on the first sewage fall on the left. Fly through the second sewage. When you get up, you will make the cycle for the third sewage fall.
Then go left, go right, on the next row of sewage, the left one will stop falling. Keep going straight, into the large room. There is a precrime with a grenade launcher in the large room. To avoid his grenades, take a sharp left before the pillars. Then take a right. There is another row of sewage fall, the right one will stop falling. You can also attempt another clip. Keep going straight, then left. Exit through the hole in the final silo.
Level 22: Steriflux Backwash
Go straight, and keep left on the first row of sewage fall. Follow the tunnel, keep going straight, into the second tunnel. There will be three new rows of sewage falling. Keep right, then left, then right, then center. Stay close to the sewage to pick up the 50$. Exit.
Tip: on the first drop in the tunnel, you can get close to the river of sewage to clear the arch wall without stopping.
Level 23: Pepper Hotel
Kill the first three enemies. In the staircase, kill 2 out of 4 precrime, the ones at the bottom of the stairs. Optional: RNG manipulation Grab the concussion rifle. Kill the rest of the enemies and grab the 2x25$ they drop.
Tip: You can grab the concussion rifle with a jump-punch without grabbing the ledge. Tip: Kill precrime first, as they are also fighting the thugs.
Level 24: Sprawl Riot
NEEDED: Concussion rifle Walk into the restaurant, and grab the shotgun. 4 precrime must be killed. Go to the corner of the street, a bit in front of the street light, and wait for an airship to arrive. Mash the aim button to catch the first precrime deployment as soon as possible, and pick 4 of them off. Grab the shotgun that drops, and wait for the animation of exploding cars to finish. If you are too early, you will be killed, even if the path looks clear. Jump on the dumpsters to the left, climb up the ledge. Jump directly onto the vent to the right using a jump-punch (do not grab the ledge), grab the 25$ and drop into the next zone. Kill 2 out of 3 precrime there, and leave.
Level 25: Brawl in the Sprawl
NEEDED: ~6 shotgun rounds Go into the street that goes to the right. Enter the shop on the left, and grab the machine gun and 25$. Keep going along the street. You will face Ken Nara. Do a ABB combo followed by a shotgun shot. Start the next combo before he gets up.
Tip: if Ken Nara pulls out his wasp gun, do a jump-punch. He will dodge it and put away the wasp gun.
Level 26: Sprawl Subway
Go down two floors. Break the glass to the control room, activate the button inside, and pick up the 50$. Go down another floor (either left or right). Kill all precrime there.
- optional if low on ammo: Drop down to the central pit, activate the button. Go up the stairs to the right (as you come out of the pit), take a left instead of going up the second stairs, there will be a door open with a concussion rifle.
Tip: When in a tunnel stairs, jump when on flat ground, your head will hit the ceiling, which avoids a landing animation.
Level 27: Return to Precrime
Go down the elevators. Stay in the corner of the elevators for a moment, the two precrime above will follow you and fall to their death, dropping a machine gun.
Tip: do not take an elevator, just go through an empty one to fall down fast.
Kill all precrime in that room. In the next room, two precrime guard the armory. Kill them, grab the keycard, open the armory and grab the concussion rifle and shotgun. Next, jump over the fence on your right, to the bottom floor. Go to the Storage door, grab the suitcase. Next, go up the slope to the right, jump above the fence and get to the bridge that goes to the second floor. As you approach the end of the bridge, jump-punch onto the glass on your left, and find the stimulant. A cutscene will play. Take the bridge on the second floor. Take a right into the control room. Go up to the top floor, kill the weak precrime employee, and take his key card. Activate the button on the control board on the same floor. Jump back down, exit the room, go straight, then left. Jump onto the main spiral bridge on your left. Go up and take your first right to the Temple.
Level 28: Food Fight
Kill the three police guards attacking Clancy. Pick up the 75$ they drop. Kill 8 precrime (grab the machine gun, shotgun, concussion rifle, and grenade launcher). When a cutscene plays where Clancy is asking for help, Precrime will start dropping from the ceiling. Pick off a handful of them before saving Clancy, but be quick otherwise the security guards will kill Clancy! Kill the two security guards attacking Clancy. Kill the rest of precrime (10 total), done.
Level 29: Mall City
You only need to kill the blue precrime. 15 of them. There are three machine guns on the first floor, and three on the second floor. There are two grenade launchers on the second floor. The trees in this level are killer trees! Use them wisely.
Level 30: Dreamweaver Download
Pick up the 2x50$ by the start of the level.
You need to defeat 5 waves of precrime in this level. There are 2 impact shotguns available.
Spawn manipulation: There are two spawn points in this level, one by the entrance door near the center of the level, and one in the corridor behind the bar. When precrime spawns from the entrance spawn point, they spawn 2 red precrime, 1 green precrime, and 1 blue precrime. When the bar spawn point is used, the blue precrime doesn't spawn! You can force the bar spawn point to be used everytime, by killing the last enemy of each wave with the entrance spawn point in the field of view.
Before finishing the last wave, break one of the two bar taps and collect 100$.
Level 31: Subway Train Fight
Kill all precrime. There are 5 carriages with precrime, including the first one.
Tip: Throw precrimes out of the train for instant kills.
Level 32: Ben Mosely Round Two
For this level you will need to have purchased: Side Snap Kick BBA+ (75$), Headbutt ABA+ (250$) and Hammer Uppercut BAB+ (350$). You should be missing 75$ only, which you can get by a simple kick on the central map display. If you are still missing money, you can get an additional 100$ by breaking any of the four vending machines at the corners of the level.
No weapons can be used in this level. Mosely will call in a wave of precrime whenever he has lost 15% of his health, up to 5 times. That is:
- Wave 1: 85% health
- Wave 2: 70% health
- Wave 3: 55% health
- Wave 4: 40% health
- Wave 5: 25% health
When Mosely calls in a wave, a message will appear saying "Defeat Precrime". Mosely will become invincible around 3 seconds later, when Precrime actually enters the room (you will hear the subway doors open). Mosely remains invincible until the wave is defeated. When Mosely becomes vulnerable again, he will aggro.
The following strat describes how to call in wave 1 and 2 and wave 3 and 4 simultaneously, and skip wave 5.
Perform 1 headbutt followed by a trample when Mosely is laying down. Repeat. Try to corner Mosely against a wall, and perform the Hammer Uppercut. Once you see that John has engaged the correct combo, right before the last hit lands, hit pause. At this point, Mosely should have right above 85% health. Buy a strength boost. Resume play, Mosely gets hit by the hammer uppercut and calls in precrime. Immediately perform a Side Snap Kick, so that he gets hit before the 3 seconds of vulnerability are up. If done correctly, he will drop below 70% health, and wave 2 will also be called in.
Defeat all precrime.
Now is a tricky part, you need to damage Mosely so that he is closely above 55% health. This takes some practice to nail. Once you feel confident he is close to 55%, again corner him, and perform the Hammer Uppercut + strength boost + side snap kick routine. If performed correctly, wave 3 and 4 will be called in.
Defeat all but one precrime. Keep track of him. Mosely should be aggroed and vulnerable at this point. Use the BAX+ combo to quickly get him to call in the 5th and final wave. Kill the precrime you left alive from the previous wave. Mosely will now aggro again. Buy a strength boost and finish Mosely off, the last wave of precrime can be ignored!
Note that even when the strat is performed correctly, Mosely will sometimes not aggro again after defeating the 3rd or 4th wave. This is not currently understood, and is left up to luck unfortunately.
If the wave skip strat fails, the BAX+ + jump-punch is a fast way of damaging Mosely.
Level 33: Subway Riot
Approach the broken door until it starts opening. Enter a bit deeper into the level until precrime start spawning. Go through the door when it's open, and pick up the impact shotgun. Defeat all precrime.
In the stairs, precrime will show up. Defeat 6 out of 8 precrime (just check that there are 2 left). You can now go up the stairs and activate the button in the control room. This opens the exit door on the top floor. Exit.
Level 34: Back in the Sprawl
Go right to the burning bus. Go to the sidewalk on the left. From there, do a jump-punch to get on top of the bus. Keep going straight, then take the street to the right, go through the hole in the barricade. Jump onto the tank from behind, jump to grab the ledge below the sign. Climb up, go right, and exit through the window.
Level 35: Deja Vu All Over Again
Exit the corridor through the door, and go right at the next corridor. Enter the first door on your left. Kill everyone inside, until the door to the left opens. Enter and drop down one floor. Kill everyone on that floor until the next door opens. Enter and go right in the corridor, then go through the first door on your left. Go down the stairs, and to the next room. Go straight to the elevator, and kill everyone inside.
Level 36: Okawa
Exit the restaurant and go left. In the next street, go right. At the very end to the left, there is a wasp gun. Grab it. On the right, there is a garage. Enter, and grab the computer. Return to the restaurant.
Level 37: In Through the Out Door
Break the glass in front of the elevator. Go up the stairs, then right. Jump about a meter from the wall, this will make you grab the ledge above. Climb to the room above, and grab the shotgun immediately to the right. Go down the corridor. Jump past the three waste vats. It is possible to land on the wall between the vats to directly jump to the other side. If this fails and you fall, just get up normally by grabbing the ledge. Go to the elevator and push the button. Cross the platform above, and press the button in the small control room. You can choose to kill the robot in the small control room before activating the button as a safe strat. Cross the bridge. After the cutscene, kill the 3 precrime that spawned and go to the end of the exit room to end the level.
Level 38: Sol Factory Floor
Climb the stairs and enter the control room to activate the button inside. Break the glass and jump onto the conveyor belt below. Advance through the door and into the factory.

Fast routing: Between you and the conveyor belt on the bridge to your right, there is a platform with a freight elevator on its side. Jump against this side wall so that you land on the elevator, which will instantly start going up.

Stockpiling routing (makes next level much faster): Immediately drop down to the right. Follow the wall to the right, then go straight. There are boxes in front of a garage door on the big structure in front of view. Slide tackle the small box to the left, which contains a grenade launcher. Keep going straight and around the corner to the left, go to the corner of the factory. The small box in that corner contains a grenade launcher. After grabbing it, return and get on the elevator.
When almost on the top, jump onto the next conveyor belt. Take the bridge to your left onto the next platform. There is a large box blocking your passage to the bridge to your right. Jump next to it to bypass it and continue. Drop down to the vent going along the wall. Pick up the wasp gun on the way, and keep following the vent around the corner. Grab the ledge to the platform above (careful not to fall!) Exit through the door on your right.
Level 39: Robot Testing Grounds
Pick up the impact shotgun, go straight, turn around the corner. To your right, a robot will appear. Get rid of it using a point-blank wasp launcher shot. Go directly to the end of the room, then execute all the precrime using the shotgun. A grenade or two sent down from the slope will also do them good. You do not need to kill all precrime to have the exit open, so pay attention and exit as soon as the door opens.
Pick up the shotgun. Place yourself in front of one of the four doors to prepare killing robots. Kill all robots that spawn. I recommend using weapons until out of ammo in this order: Wasp launcher (point blank) - Grenade Launcher (from a distance) - Impact Shotgun (close range).
When out of ammo, go get more in the corridor you enter the room from.
Level 40: Return of Suspect: Nikki Jameson
Damage Nikki. The best way to damage her is to use the machine gun. If you're out of ammo, use ABB + shotgun shot combo. Use the impact shotgun on the first robot that appears. For the rest, use shotgun or wasp launcher. Pick up shotgun ammo only if you are low on ammo. Go to second floor. Kill one of the two first green robots. Kill the two brown robots, pick up grenades and head, go to third floor. Kill all robots. Pick up head, and go to the fourth and final floor.
- Safe strat: use the uppercut combo ABB(+) to launch Nikki Jameson in the air, then use either the shotgun or concussion rifle to launch her above the central pit.
- Risky strat: Quick Nikki Once Nikki Jameson falls into the pit, the game ends.
