Now that we've discovered a bunch of shortcuts, we'll need to discuss which ones are banned in the "no lap skip" category. Check out these 2 videos: both speedrun strats for the track "Breakwater". My strategy completes 3 laps, but cuts out most of track. Fanjo's strategy straight up skips the laps by crashing into the same wall 3 times. Should we ban both, or just Fanjo's?

As youve seen I've done some messing around with categories, hope that its all satisfactory. If not let me know please. Also, bear with me when it comes to modding this as I'm very busy irl currently (I'm considering adding another moderator). And another thing, do you want me to make a discord for speedrunning the game?

Also for the individual tours do we want it to be a rule that they have to be done on a complete save file as the game automatically loads you up on the last race just to keep consistency with the menuing?

lmao only just saw this somehow. Yup no stress! I think the current categories are great now. It's possible to do glitchy time trials, so maybe in the future we could add glitchey time trials as a category for IL runs, but in the mean time, seeing as no one is running them, there's not much point (unless we get more players)
