Decompiling/Extracting GRPs

Hey guys, hope this is an appropriate topic for this forum. I'm interested in looking at the game resources and/or decompiling the game to take a deep look. I've noticed the game uses GRP files to hold most of it's assets, but haven't found a way to extract them. Seems most GRP extractors are for Duke Nukem. I haven't decompiled a game before, nor have I tried to extract any assets so if anyone has any pointers for where to start that would be great. I am a programmer so I'm hoping I can figure it out.

I've tried looking for programs to open the GRP files in the past, but I haven't found any. I hope that you'll be able to figure this out!

I've been wanting for this format to be found out also, but no luck. I do know that another game Darkened Skye from the same developers uses a very similar format, but that's not very helpful when I have no leads on extraction.

I think that "grps" are multiple 3d objects put together to make an animation. There are just a single 3d object grps: (boxes, mini tubes), and animated grps: (yellow, robots springs.)
