Its something like this following video : You can kinda see how I do it in this video, You walk diagonally toward a wall (not all of the walls work) and just release jump. If you're going for consistency, I recommend don,t release jump instantly, instead wait for 0.5 to 1 seconds. This trick is currently implemented on 1,2,3,7,13 IL WR runs, but only 1,2,7 is worth going for in any% run in my opinion, because doing it on 3 and 13 is way too RNG depended.
@Yinya I have an idea: what if you shoot the wall the same frame you jump and shoot the floor the frame you land? It would be incredibly RNG dependent as you need Karlson to aim properly but it might blast you farther.
@SumPup What do you mean by shooting the floor? If you mean rubberbanding again by hitting the floor, It is possible on some floors, but consider you need to first get rubberbanding off the wall (which is hard), and rubberbanding off the floor (incredibly rare),and ALSO get the good angle to save time, you probably won't expect it to happen on a Any% run. If you would like to try crazy tricks like that I will recommend you to run individual levels (ILs). For me its more fun to run ILs because you get to try different strategy and routes, without worrying to loss all the progress, so I think you will find it fun to do ILs too! good luck!
