Glitch Hunter(s)

I will spend most of my time hunting for glitches (I will also be running it) in this game to use in speedruns. I will post a video soon on the OOB for fortresses and how it works to see if anyone else can get the trigger for the overlord fight.

On the other hand, a recent discovery I made allows for infinite arrows. Literally is one of the easiest things to pull off and I am surprised no one found it earlier. All you have to do is on your last arrow, after you release the mouse button to fire it, just spam it as fast as you can. Talion will then fire infinite, non charged, arrows until you stop mashing the button. It is extremely useful against crowds in overlord fights or any captain that isn't arrowproof as it keeps an uruk stunlocked.

There is a possibility of an infinite skill point glitch using the fight pits. I was not the one who encountered this glitch, their name is below this paragraph. I am currently trying to replicate this glitch so that it is usable in a run to level up faster to get skills earlier (because I would love to have the distance crosser using talon strike off of a Haedir tower as soon as possible).

Video of the one who encountered the glitch:

Furthermore I will post any other findings on this thread for everyone to use. Good luck runners, and may RNG shine brightly on your path.

If you can provide a video demonstrating this arrow glitch and the inf skill point glitch (if it works) that would be great because at the moment I am not able to figure out the infinite arrow glitch you are describing and can't replicate the infinite skills glitch either.

The video for the infinite arrow barrage.

Keep in mind that you will most likely have little to no focus while firing these arrows, and with your camera zoomed in you will be vulnerable to attacks from behind, consider checking behind you before using this glitch or backing up to a wall. This glitch is useful against groups of uruks and captains / overlords that are not arrowproof as it does damage quickly and stunlocks. Not as effective on ologs and I wouldn't risk setting this up against one.

Need all details, not working for me still, could be an fps thing, vsync full screen etc, list all settings and what system you're playing it, i tried the method in the video every which way so theres something missing

Personally I play on PC with a 54 fps cap to allow for streaming because my CPU isn't the best. My Vsync is off and I run the game in borderless. Most graphic settings are on medium-high. I use the mouse and keyboard, no controller, without any macros or any extra bindings on scroll wheel. Keep in mind your last shot should not be charged as it may affect if the glitch works or not and you MUST be clicking as fast as possible the entire time. in the video I use Nohboard and you can see my essential keyboard and mouse strokes, you can watch those closely to see if you're missing something but other than that I have no idea why it isn't working for you :\

Yeah man I tried in the same settings, different settings, just about anything I could think of to try and trigger this, is there a specific skill or bow you have that triggers the ability to do this? Have you tried it on a new file to see if its even possible early game, it might be a fluke but I haven't tried using a macro yet but why bother since that wouldn't be allowed anyways.

This glitch seems very hit and miss, I had a run where right on the first mission I was spamming it to clear Orcs, but when I got further into the run I just couldnt get it. So I am not sure what is happening. But it is definitely not skill based, and I dont think its based on your gear either.

Next glitch time! This time it is an OOB into the fortress and its overlords throne room. It is a very technical glitch and I don't explain that many of the finer details and I may make an extra video that has a more complicated piece at the end, but this is what I have considering my time constraints. I won't be available to make anything for the next few days but I will be able to answer text posts to answer questions anyone may have.

If this isn't a very good explanation I can easily make a new video and replace this post so don't hesitate to say anything. Also, if anyone (I mean ANYONE) can find out how to trigger the overlord to spawn I think everyone would be very appreciative.

Have you tried dying in the warchief room?

I know dying in there means you can skip doing the whole siege if you redo the mission. But I guess that depends on the status of the quest. The fact your still on capturing points stage might not make it work..

I've thought about it but I don't know of a way to deal damage to yourself or get an enemy uruk in there :\

I don't remember if this applies to bodyguards but try summoning a body guard captain and attack him until he turns on you and die that way.

I didn't even know that they turn on you if you attack them, I guess I never went swinging at my own guys :P. But that's definitely something to try.

Just saw this on youtube..

Not sure if it can be used for anything or how to even do it

Update, dying to your own uruk inside the throne room does not spawn you into the fight when you re enter the siege. Feelsbadman :( and I will try looking into the technique used in the video you posted Acefrog, it might be useful in certain missions.

Hey. I found this fast travel-related glitch in Shadow of Mordor, but it also works in Shadow of War. It's possible to do a big "magnetic leap" across the map between any place where you can drop and a quick travel point. The leap can also be interrupted in the middle by using double jump or tactically having collision to block Talion. It might save a little time when navigating between missions? That is, if it works on PC / current patch (I've been playing on console / unpatched).

As a side note, I noticed that it's really easy to breach walls using "spectral dash", but I'm not sure if that might also be a console / unpatched thing.
