Game Performance Issues for Speedrunning

So, I was grinding to beat @JHolleworth's world record on Episode 5, (which at the time I did not know @Lehcats would beat it first) and I did a bunch of time saves including not watching Xara die which saves a ton of time in the first and second chapter, but I realized that his game ran better than mine which allowed him to eventually catch up to my run (when I compared the runs side by side) despite my big time save. If it weren't for that, I would've beaten it. And no, and I'm not talking about load times, they are subtracted anyways, I am saying that the cutscenes on his game run slightly faster than mine which makes it impossible for me to beat it no matter how hard I try.

It's probably going to be the same result if I grind to beat @Lehcats time. (My game doesn't run that bad, but it still makes it impossible to beat for that reason.)

Despite their skill, people who have games that run slower will have a massive unfair disadvantage. I was wondering if you mods could find a solution to that, I was playing on console so maybe consoles generally run the game slower than PCs but maybe there are some consoles that run about as fast the PCs but idk. Maybe for that reason, you could have separate sub-categories for PC, Console and Mobile? I guess I'll leave it up to you mods if you want to do anything about that. Sorry to bother you.
