Hello everyone!

I've noticed that a majority of Mine Chunk runners aren't active on the speedrunning Discord server, so I've decided to make this forum post detailing my recent seed finding efforts for finding an ideal Mine a Chunk Overworld SSG seed.

I've written a program to search for multiple 5.5+ block wide ravine starts facing the same direction near (0,0). The idea is to have two 8+ wide ravines side by side, meaning that the ravine cuts out the entire chunk. The results are below. Each seed is a structure seed, and there are 65k other sister seeds with the same cave (assuming (0,0) is not an ocean) but potentially better biomes. Next to the seed is the maximum amount of air blocks I've been able to fit in a chunk below y=63. (Note that there are only 15,000 total blocks, air and non-air, from y=5 to y=63 in a chunk)

Some runners may be familiar with my Mine a Chunk Nether RSG WR, in which I used toolsmith starts to quickly get multiple pickaxes with efficiency. For an SSG seed, I looked for a seed with an igloo. An igloo has a 50% chance of spawning an underground basement, where you can cure a zombie villager to get a villager who will give you discounts. If you make the cured villager a toolsmith, you can unlock the master pickaxe trade with only 10 emeralds and 12 iron. Once unlocked, the enchanted pickaxe trade will only be 1-3 emeralds. Furthermore, this trading can be done without any restocks, bypassing the need to wait for the second day in order to utilize the infinite restocking in 1.14.4.

After searching through viable sister seeds of the structure seeds shown above, I have arrived at this seed: 252764828019341411. Featuring a 10,000 air block ravine and an igloo, this seed has the potential for a sub one hour time. Right now, a sub-one hour is 40 minutes faster than the fastest run on the boards/in the queue.
