1476 emeralds is basically 6000 wooden logs, that's not really reasonable, the only reasonable way to do this would be to get a librarian in an igloo, because in 1.14 you can trade infinitely with it (buy bookshelves for 1 emerald then break it and sell the books for 1 emerald each) that requires no running and close to no ressources other than crafting a bunch of axes, and takes roughly 2 hours

why 1.14? it could def be a lot faster in 1.16

1.16 could be much faster due to the possibility to raid bastions and ruined portals for gold blocks, but 1.14 igloos would be much more consistent due to glitched infinite restocks

You can also make a simple IGF, which would get you enough iron in 3 hours, but definitely slower than igloo or bastion.

for 1.16 I would say just get glass from sand on the beach from the wither ssg seed, and mine some obsidian by getting a diamond pickaxe, then just get gold blocks from bridge bastions

yeah, either bastions or a ton of ocean monuments (like in billywars aa 1.11 run) would be better now that i think abt it

wait nvm i thought this was SSG my bad. still with some fire bastion luck i think bastions would work better

For me, I find that this category would be very interesting precisely in relation to the number of possible strategies: Bastions in 1.16? Igloos in 1.14? A Mesa biome for the large amount of gold? Of course luck will also play a role but it can really be an interesting category.

How many blocks of iron/gold/emeralds do u need to get the achievement? Is it just 9? Or do u need to make the full beacon

To unlock the "beaconator" achievement, you must activate a beacon on 4 levels (9x9, 7x7, 5x5, 3x3). In total, 164 blocks of minerals are needed for a pyramid of this size.

@Dynastie well i mean tbh one strat is obv going to go above the rest, so while this category would be full of innovation at first, it would eventually devolve to just doing the fastest strat

@imgntn In SSG, I quite agree with you, as always, all the rides will use the same seed. On the other hand, in RSG, it can be more ineressant compared to your spawn, your luck ... etc.

We've discussed this before on the discord. I'm currently trying to complete a run so that we can get it on the leaderboards (will need someone else to do this too!) and I'm planning to use bastions (I'm doing ssg so I know where they'll be). The other strat we talked about is that there are some seeds that are glitched so that there are infinite abandoned mineshafts, so you could just run through them looting them for iron, gold diamonds.
