I see on the rules for Minecraft Java Edition, it says the video cannot be private. However, on the bedrock rules, it doesn’t say anything about that. If I do a bedrock run, can it be a private video? I do not have a channel on YouTube, Twitch, etc, and so I would not be able to make my run public.
I mean if it is accessible when people want to see it (I mean that after verification people that want to watch it,can watch it ), I don’t see any problems but I suggest to wait for the response of a mod .
No, if a video is private only you can see it. A verifier can't verify a run they can't even view.
of course not, that applies to every game as verifiers/mod cant watch that if the run is actually legitimate and cant retime it as well. I can just submit a 15 min rsg any% private video and get it verified.... see it doesn't make sense
I believe it would have to be visible to everyone on speedrun.com so unlisted or public. Also highly suggest making a youtube channel to upload speedruns on, It is the easiest for you, the mods, and everyone else.
I would probably recommend making a yt channel and making your runs unlisted, so only the mods who have the link can view the video, if you don't want to publish public runs.
That is an unlisted video @MiiSports . An unlisted video and a private video are 2 completely different things.
private videos you have to physically give each individual person access, unlisted videos anyone with the link can see the video
I see. Thank you all for your help! I guess I was confusing a private video with an unlisted one. Thanks!!
Hello Runners.
We have a new rule for all platforms, for random seed runs.
After completing a Top Run (Top 5 Main Category/1st ILs), you must exit the world and go to the main menu.
For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
For Ps4/Ps5, this rule
