=================================== == Opening Notes ==

** I recommend using a turbo controller for this game. It has a lot of text and mashing points and a turbo controller just makes life better. I recommend having it on Auto for the opening scene and Turbo from then on out. It takes a while to get use to tapping A for precise parts, but it's not too bad.

** Always assume Dion is leader unless otherwise noted

** LR = Luck Rock Count

** I = What direction to move to get to an item

=============== == Chapter 1 ==

Turbo through text. Down for a stick and a Luck Rock (LR: 1). Right for another stick, then get the snorkel with Max. Up and use the box in Tent 4 to get 5 Luck Rock (LR: 5). Left to the pond, use Max to run around and get a Luck Rock (LR: 6) and the cleats. Head right, stick in the trees, Luck Rock by kids (LR: 7) and play soccer. 3 Fish with Jack (I: 1 Right). Fish the Luck Rock from the fence and the stick from across the river (LR: 8 ).

Luck Rock by the cave (LR: 9). Learn to lift things and get the stick. Back to the pond, and lift the rock for the next stick. Meet up with the monkey and follow to the ship. Luck Rock on the bow (LR: 10). Free the monkeys and open Jack's box for the Boots (I: R + Right 2). Use the keypad - 1268 - and start the engine with Max (I: 2 Right). Open Max's chest for the key then S+Q (I: 1 Right).

Start on the boat, Dion's chest for the Running Shoes, then Equip (I: N/A). Run to the left and use the key to raise the wheel (I: R + 1 Right). Spin the wheel - Right 2, Left 5, Right 4. Enter cave, Jack and equip Boots to jump. Grab the Luck Rock and do Fishing Rod skip with the jumps (LR: 1). Chest on the way (I: 2 Right). Open door and another Luck Rock (LR: 2)

Head up to the robot and start him up with Jack (I: 2 Left). Left 3 Down 4 Left 1 Down 2 Pull middle switch in next room. Open the chest for the orb then leave the cave (I: 2 Right). Head back to Tent 2 and get the Phones.

Head back around the pond and up towards the cave. Leave Max and Dion by the rock and take Jack over the river to the tied up kid. Fish the pond for the key then free the kid (I: 2 Right). Fall into the hidden hole to find the Rope. Back up and around to the rock, lift it out of the way. Using Jack, over the quicksand and build the ladder (I: N/A). Grab Baseball Mitt from Dion's chest in the Bird area (I: 1 Left). Up and around, bop the pirate and the dog, have Max get Polly.

Use Jack on the watering robot (I: 3 Right). 4 Left, 4 Down 3 Right, 5 Left Through pipe with Dion and into the cage. Bottom Pirate Bottom Pirate Left Pirate Right Pirate Open the chest for the Hammer (I: 3 Right). Back down and roll the pipe. Into mine cart cave - hop into first cart with Dion and Baseball Mitt.

Bean the pirate by the switch and in the next room do the following: Take the 1st platform to bypass a cart Damage boost at the top and move to the 5th platform using iframes Wait for 3 carts, then move to the 6th platform Hit tomato cart (not needed?) and run to 7th platform Bypass a cart then down and another damage boost to the 8th platform Equip Running Shoes and run into a cart, then sprint and bonk to skip a cart Exit

Up and jar loose a log, drop down the ladder. Go to the door and Phone Jack to meet up with Dion. Pick up log and dash into fake door on left side of top wall (LR: 5) Long scene, the leave to the right and grab the orb on your way out. Onto the boat and unlock the top door with Polly (I: R + 2 Right). Start the boat, steer, outside to green bird, stop boat.

=============== == Chapter 2 ==

LEAVE JACK IN THE BOAT.

Luck Rock in corner of trees in graveyard (LR: 6). Down and into Sheriff's office for the bone. Give to dog (I: 2 Right). Luck Rock in Barrels by house to the up/right of the Sheriff (LR: 7).

Defeat the first 3 plants in the first area. In next area with Max - 1st hole then Left hole. Defeat remaining 2 plants in the area and Luck Rock from middle one (LR: 8 ). Leave Max in upper area, Dion goes down to next area. Defeat plant in front of cave and Luck Rock (LR: 9). Talk Cisco, the man, and Cisco again, S+Q to boat.

Talk to crow in graveyard and place the wreath on the gravestone (I: 2 Left) Move gravestone for picture of Benson; show to guy in water pumping house (I: N/A). Into house in upper right with old woman, clean windows and move furniture. Move pirate ship model for key, unlock next door (I: 4 Right). Use clock (6pm counter clockwise, 6pm clockwise) to meet Benson. Warp back in time.

Sheriff's office, look in window, cursor on Indian. Talk to builder and pick house 2. Luck Rock and Penguin mini game (LR: 10). Switch off of Max instead of swimming out of the water, finish the segment without him. Talk to Penguin, then fish up the frog with Jack. Bring Penguin to town: Stomp by cow Stomp up and left Stomp down and left Jack talk to guy by Sheriff's house, S+Q to boat.

** HAVE 10 LUCK ROCKS HERE ** Water guy's house, give him 8 Luck Rocks (LR: 2). Jack use blueprint on pile of junk for drill (I: 2 Right). Pick it up with Max and S+Q to clock house.

Put Polly in the cow's nose (I: R + 3 Right). Drill on all the Penguin footprints with Max. Down to Sheriff's window and send the frog in (I: R + N/A). Inside, talk to Indian and show photo of Benson (I: 3 Right). S+Q back to boat.

Only take Dion here - no need to whistle everyone together. Luck Rock on tree on the way (LR: 3). Inside, dash against wall for Benson and 3 Luck Rocks (LR: 6). Show Benson the photograph (I: 2 Left). Luck Rock in barrels at water guy's house (LR: 7). Luck Rock behind water guy's house (LR: 8 ). Pile of Luck Rocks in old woman's house (LR: 18). S+Q to clock house.

Follow Benson into cave, then go blow the wall with dynamite. Return the dynamite, then go kick the switch with Max (I: 2 Left). Continue climbing up and kicking with Max. Maze: Right Left Up Right Up Sliding block puzzle: Pull 1st Block Pull top Block Pull bottom Block Pull left Block Pull right Block Pull final Block 10 Luck Rocks on right side of next area (LR: 28). Use the cannon to shoot the enemies (LR: 25). Boss fight - gently move Max and Jack so Dion can Baseball them. The moving of the other 2 confuses/stops them temporarily. Free Benson and S+Q back to clock house.

Go back to the Present. 10 Luck Rocks behind house on the way to the boat (LR: 35). Read Benson's grave and dash in the cross pattern in the graveyard Drill for the orb and S+Q back to boat (I: R + 2 Right). Toss 20 Luck Rocks to start the boat then S+Q (LR: 15) (I: 1 Right) Talk to yellow bird, start boat, outside then inside, steer boat, stop boat.

=============== == Chapter 3 ==

Play the games with the monkeys and big pile of Luck Rocks (LR: 27). Head up and left to get to Photographer for the picture. Back up to the tent, 10 Luck Rocks behind it (LR: 37). Inside and show the old guy the photograph (I: 2 left). Talk to him with Jack for the Magnet. Tug of War with the monkeys.

Switch to Jack and go up to get the Tape Recorder. Record the sound of the male Gorilla (I: 4 Right). Scare the monkeys to the left with the gorilla noise (I: N/A) . Record the sound of the female Gorilla (I: N/A). Use the female Gorilla on the male Gorilla (I: N/A). Continue all the way into the village and into the lab. Read the research papers then phone Dion.

Return to the old guy in the tent and bring him with you to the lab. Use the drill on the floor where the papers were (I: R + 1 Right). Outside, replace the broken sign with the piece you drilled up (I: 1 Left). Use Max to dial 1221, then go into the Library. Talk to the Librarian, then get the key from the kid. Unlock the gate and continue on to the maze (I: 3 Left).

Using Max to kick up the grass, follow the below (starting on the upper path from the stairs): 3 left 2 down 5 left 2 up 1 left 1 up 1 left 4 up (LR: 38) 3 left 3 up 2 left 3 up Go up and through the plants on the right using the baseball mitt. Up into the cave, hit the dog 3 times then finish off the plant. Return to the lab and use the secret passage to skip the maze (LR: 40). Talk to the old guy with Jack for the Spray Can. Spray the plant to free the scientist and into the basement.

After talking again, go up and into the big house, talk to the guy for Cheese. Upstairs, use the Cheese to lure the mouse out and record his sound with Jack (I: R + 3 Left). In the bottom left house by the lab, scare the guy with the mouse noise (I: R + 3 Right). Play track 3 in the jukebox and record the sound and have Max talk to the guy before leaving (I: N/A). Into the bottom right house and give the Earthbound guy the coin to box (I: R + 1 Right). In the house with the 3 kids, talk to the middle one and play the recorded music (I: R + 2 Right). Get the doll from the one kid who can't dance.

Give the doll to the mother with the crying child (I: 3 Left). In the big house, give the miner one of the spicy foods (I: N/A). Go into the cave by the maze to fill up the thermos with water (I: N/A). Give the Librarian the other spicy meal (I: 4 Right). Then give him the water to reveal the plant (I: 3 Left). Defeat the plant with a combo of Jack's spray and Max's boxing (push the plant into the right wall).

Return to the lab and use Jack's Magnet to get the key out of Max's gut (I: 3 Left). In the basement off the big house, unlock the gate by the plant (I: R + 1 Left). Spray the plant to save the guy, then into the tunnel behind him. Get a full 60 seconds of electricity then start hauling it (LR: 42+ if lucky)

Build the mouse bridge with Jack. Boss fight: Dion beans the head 3 times in Phase 1 Put Dion and Jack on the left wall, use Max to box the heads in Phase 2 Using Jack, spray one of the spike balls and have Max kick it into the flower. S+Q and return to the boat.

Fire up the boat the S+Q again (I: 1 Right). Talk to the bird then start the boat. Outside, inside, outside to bow, break the ice with Hammer. Inside and stop the boat.

=============== == Chapter 4 ==

Go up to where bird is causing problems, use Polly (I: R + 4 Right). Through the tunnel and into the city. Talk to the guy on the right side and then down/left to the basement. Examine the blue ants, then talk to the old guy again. Leave Jack behind in the cell, then leave the palace.

Out the left door into the forest. Talk to the frog, then head up/left. Bee and honey minigame.

Down/left and talk to the spider with Max. Spider soccer minigame. S+Q and return to the palace. This time take Jack, talk to guard in the electricity room. Talk to the following guards: By the right staircase in the palace. Left side of throne room. Right side of the exit gate. Left side in palace entrance. By the stairs to the basement. Flip the right switch and head back to the forest.

Talk to the frog again, then head up. Take Jack and do the quiz minigame

Up/right and down the ladder. Down with Dion and do the pot minigame. Choose the left brown one in the center

Head left with Jack to the spiders. Jumping Luck Rock minigame (LR: 22).

Head back to Dion, then head up and spray the pinecone looking thing. Hit it three times with the baseball mitt. Head right and climb up for a Luck Rock (LR: 23). Hit the spider with the baseball mitt, then fish off the web. Head up to final spider, do racing minigame. S+Q back to palace.

Take Jack again, flip the right electricity switch again. Down into town, into left store with Green lined awning. Examine the tiny house in the upper left, trade the shell (I: R + 4 Right). Back to the forest, talk to the frog for his tail. Down/left and talk to the snail, trade the house (I: R). S+Q and back to palace.

Take full party, talk to old guy and give him frog's tail (I: 2 Right). Then give him pinecone (I: 3 Right). Then give him web (I: N/A). Then give him snail shell (I: R + 5 Right). Then give him yellow bulb (I: R + 3 Left). Leave and head back to town, head into green awning house on the right. Paint the picture - middle option, then top option.

Head back to the Palace, talk to Polly and the old guy. Head up the right stairs and check the letter on the table. Head out the right side and into the hole. Talk to the guard on the ground, then head down into the hole. Grab the item on the ground for later.

Revive the guard to the up/left (I: N/A). Have Max drill the ground where he was laying (I: 3 Left). Phone Dion and follow Max into the hole. Have Jack distract the robot on the right, have Dion use the baseball on it's back x3. Heal up, down the hole, lift up the big rock down below, and revive the old guy (I: 3 Right). Lift the upper rock, down the hole.

Take care of another robot, then head down. Heal up and into the hole. Boss fight: Move Dion to the left side, examine the boss. Shoot the eyes. Run down then back up to dodge. Keep shooting the eyes. Pick up the Luck Rocks then up the rope (LR: 30). Back to the throne room, talk to the guy on the left.

Examine the orb, talk to the old guy on the right. Examine the orb again, then paint it (top option, then bottom). Talk to the king for Luck Rocks (LR: 80). Grab the egg on the way out of the palace. Return the egg to the bird for the orb (I: 4 Left). Back to the boat and fire it up. S+Q, talk to the bird, then start the boat. Outside, talk to the green bird, then back inside to stop the boat.

=============== == Chapter 5 ==

Go up and head all the way around into the farthest tent; talk to the captain. Retrace back to the previous tent, go inside. Go up and head in towards the mine cart cave (I: 2 Right). Make your way to the room with the 4 orbs. Head into the door.

Head up into the cave and take the elevator down. Climb a couple ladders, and then go down/right until the blue door. Go up to the 5th floor, down/right and down some stairs. Use Dion to send Jack/Max over on the cart. Use Max to kick the switch to open the gate. Send Jack jumping to the far switch. Open Dion's chest for the first key (I: 2 Left) - LEAVE MAX HERE. Head back upstairs and then head to the 3rd floor.

Use Jack with the robot to cross the hidden paths (I: 3 Left): 1 left 2 down 2 left 2 down 2 left 1 down 2 left 2 up Next hidden path: 3 left 1 up 2 left 4 down 2 right 2 down 1 left Next hidden path: 6 down 3 right 1 up 2 right Next hidden path: 6 down 6 left Get the 2nd key from Jack's chest (I: 2 Right).

Take Dion, and follow the path down, outside and then to the right. Open Dion's chest for another key (I: 1 Right). Back inside, fall down a floor. Do the following to solve the sliding tile puzzle - start in bottom right: left left up left down right up right down right up left left up left down right right up up left down left up right right right down left up right

Continue into the next room, grab the hook and fall down a floor. Head all the way right and outside. Go all the way left and race the robot and get another key from the chest. Head back right and inside, go downstairs to Max and head the 2nd floor. Use Max to push the robot with the giant boulder down the hole. Grab another key from the chest then phone Jack.

Fall down a floor, bypass the puzzle room and go into the hook room. Grab the hook, fall down a floor, and get a key from the chest (I: 1 Left). Head up to the 3rd floor and repeat, this time getting the final chest by the puzzle. S+Q to go back to the start.

Climb up again and into the red door. Get another key from Jack's box (I: R + 1 Left). Head back down the ladder and then open the blue door (I: R). Start the elevator and let it rise, make Jack the leader. Step on the switch at the bottom of the room then phone Dion.

Climb the ladders, then head down/right. Head up and meet up with the other two in the green structure. Leave Max on left side of machine, Dion and Jack to the other. Blow up the balloon and then get into it.
