IMPORTANT STUFF

  1. This is a suggested route. All of the blocks here can be done in any order, as all quests are unlocked from the beginning.
  2. Don't be afraid to move away from the route from time to time! Green spaces give you an extra roll, which can be really useful to extend your turn. Chains of greens make you move faster as well.
  3. Every 3 turns, you'll get a minigame. Beating this minigame is essential, as it is the main way of getting mushrooms, or turns.
  4. In the late game, Bowser Jr. can do some stupid stuff, like move your character or block the path. If that happens, see where you are and try to roll with it.
  5. HOLD L! This skips dialog, which consists of a big part of the game.
  6. To change characters, press L and choose quit. After you quit, you'll be asked to Restart, Choose Character, or Leave. Same thing when you run out of turns.

General know-how

Spaces

Yellow spaces: Your basic space. Landing here does nothing. Red spaces: Landing on this space makes you lose one mushroom. Blue spaces: Landing on this space starts up either a Bowser Jr. minigame or a Tumble minigame. Tumble minigame rewards you 2 mushrooms for winning and takes 0 mushrooms for losing while Bowser Jr. minigame rewards you 1 mushroom for winning and takes 1 mushroom for losing. Green spaces: These are the most important spaces for you. Landing on this space gives you a free extra roll, meaning you can move more while using less mushrooms, and as such causing less minigames to happen.

========================================================================

Timing starts on choosing "Yes" after typing your secret in the passport Start with Peach

Quest 1: Jungle Game Hut Right 5

Oh boy, Roulette. On the first turn, bet 3 on x2 and 1 on x5. It's a 7/16 chance of winning. After that, 4 on x5 and 10 on x2. If that doesn't work, good luck. You need to get to 31 coins.

Quest 2: Petal House Right 3, Down 2

Your first delivery quest! Head to Mushroom Condo 3rd Floor. Here's the optimal way to get there: Up 2, Right 4, Up 1, Right 4, Up 1, Right 8, Down 2, Right 5, Down 1, Right 10, Up 2, Right 1

Quest 3: Mushroom Condo Basement (the blank option at the bottom of the menu)

RNG dice roll game. Good luck.

Quest 4: Mushroom Condo Rooftop

Pretty simple minigame, mimic the Fly Guy's movements. Lenient too, so don't worry too much.

Quest 5: Mushroom Condo 3rd Floor

And here come the delivery quests. You need to go visit Mr. I and come back. Optimal route: Left 3, Up 5, Left 7, Up 5 Note: At the end, you can choose the second option when talking to Flutter. Less text.

Quest 6: Mushroom Condo 2nd Floor

And another. Optimal route: Left 3, Down 2, Left 8, Up 1, Left 7, Down 3, Left 2

Quest 7: Mr. I Left 3, Up 5, Left 7, Up 5

Nothing to do here, just visit him as Peach and quest complete.

From here, it doesn't matter if you use Peach. If you run out of turns, just take Yoshi and go back to Horror Condo.

Quest 8: Horror Condo Basement Up 1, Left 5

Everything in this condo is delivery. Go to the Item Shop, get the Toad Force V figure and come back. Optimal route: Right 5, Down 6, Right 8, Up 1, Right 2

Quest 9: Horror Condo 1st Floor

You need to go visit Mushroom Condo 1st Floor and come back. Optimal route: Right 5, Down 6, Right 7, Down 5, Right 3

Quest 10: Horror Condo 2nd Floor

Last delivery for a bit, I promise. Go to the Boo Cemetary and come back. Optimal route: Right 5, Down 4, Left 4

Quest 11: Ice Game Room Left 5

Beat the minigame. You can usually time the coin drop with the box; practice it until you get used to it, it's not hard. You need to get to 31 coins.

Quest 12: Ice Stadium Down 3, Left 3

Hit the ball at the right moment to score a Homerun. The pitcher will either throw a fast or a slow, and there's no way to tell. Keep trying until you hit it right.

Quest 13: Boo Cemetary Right 6, Down 1, Right 3

You have to find the Boo that moves in a different way from the others. Might take a while to properly see it, but it's not hard.

Switch to Yoshi, unless you're already Yoshi

Quest 14: The Hammer Right 7, Down 2, Left 3, Down 3, Left 1, Down 1, Left 5, Up 2, Left 1, Up 2, Left 4

Mash A to spin the hammer. This'll take you to Kamek and you'll have to beat his RNG minigame. You have to end with 0 cards, including those on the field, of the ones you bet on. Again, 3 on 2x and 1 on 5x is good.

Quest 15: Pokey Desert Right 2, Down 2, Left 5

The answers to Pokey's Riddles are: Mario (1), Bowser (1), Luigi (2). They are always the same, in the same order.

Quest 16: Ukiki House Down 1, Left 4, Up 1, Left 3, Up 2, Left 1

Ukiki is hiding at Loch Dorrie. To get there: Left 2, Up 1, Left 3, Down 2, Left 3

Quest 17: Loch Dorrie

Whoa, you're already here! Just visit this place as Yoshi for a quest complete.

Quest 18: Dance Stage Right 3, Up 2

Press the buttons shown on screen. Easy enough, right? Once again, pretty lenient. Don't worry too much.

Switch to Luigi

Quest 19, 20 and 21: Duel Tower Right 1, Down 2, Left 2

The password to enter is "Chaaaaaarge!" You need to beat the minigame on each floor. If you lose one of them, you can use a mushroom to continue. Counts for 3 quests completed. The first minigame is a simple mashing minigame. I say that, but sometimes the AI is nearly unbeatable, so good luck. The second minigame is pretty much RNG. If the AI decides that you're gonna lose, you're gonna lose. It can be very easy or impossible. The third minigame is pretty easy, mash the fake out until the CPU chickens and then chicken out. Don't worry if you game over, you're close to it from Luigi's starting point.

Quest 22: Mushroom Library Right 6

Answers are always the same. 990 (2), 100 (2), 0 (3). Easy.

Quick note: You may either go to Mushroom Pool or Mario Vaudeville first. If you have the roll for it, go to Pool, else go to Vaudeville.

Quest 23: Mario Vaudeville Left 3, Down 1, Left 6, Up 1, Left 1, Up 1, Left 2, Up 2, Left 1

Laugh at his punchlines. They are: "You should never, EVER, take it outside!" and "Give me the answers!"

Quest 24: Mushroom Pool Left 5

You need to lose but by not much. Make sure he stays on screen.

Quest 25: Lakitu House Right 8, Up 1, Right 2

Oh man, we haven't seen deliveries in a while. To Mushroom Condo 1st Floor and back. Optimal route: Right 8, Down 1, Right 10, Up 4, Right 1, Up 6, Right 3, Up 2, Right 1 If you couldn't read it due to skipping text, the answer is "I'm an iron 'shroom!" (2)

Quest 26: Mushroom Beacon Left 2, Down 4, Right 1, Down 1, Right 2

Beat his minigame. Not jumping in the minigame makes it quite easy.

Quest 27: Sushi Cliff Right 4, Up 1, Right 3

The culprit is always Blooper. Mash A.

Quest 28: Klepto Ruins Left 3, Up 2, Right 3, Up 1, Right 3, Up 3, Left 2, Up 1, Left 2, Up 3

The code is always 4444.

Switch to Mario Top Route

Quest 29: Chain Chomp Left 3, Up 3

Beat his minigame. Pretty easy, just don't mash too fast to not tire out.

Quest 30: Bob-omb Avenue Up 2, Right 4, Up 3

Oh hey, more deliveries! To the Item Shop to buy a Bob-Omb Figure, and back. Optimal route: Up 3, Left 4, Up 2, Left 3 When you talk to Bob-omb again, the password is "Baboom!" (2)

Quest 31: Thwomp House Up 3, Left 1

The clue here is the door. Thwomp is too small to get out of his house, so he couldn't have been robbed. Poor guy.

Quest 32: Goombob Manor Left 3, Up 5, Right 2

The worst delivery quest. You're going to travel a total of 88 steps. Optimal route: Left 2, Down 16, Left 7, Down 1, Left 1, Down 4, Left 10, Up 1, Left 4

Quest 33: Bob-omba Left 2, Down 3, Left 5, Up 1, Left 2

Oh look, another one of these. Optimal route: Left 3, Down 4, Left 3, Down 3, Left 1, Down 1, Left 5, Up 2, Left 3, Up 2

Quest 34: Town Koopa Bank Left 2, Up 2

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaOptimal route: Down 2, Right 4, Down 1, Right 2 to Item Shop Right 3, Up 3, Right 2 to Goombob Manor Left 2, Down 3, Left 5, Down 1, Left 8, Up 5 to Mr. I Down 5, Right 3, Up 2, Right 1, Up 2 back to Town Koopa Bank

The culprit is always Paratroopa (2). You still need to visit every place though. Why.

Restart as Mario Bottom Route

Quest 35: Goomba House Left 5

More delivery, but at least this one's short. Go to Train Station and back. It's directly to your left.

Quest 36: Train Station Left 3

I swear we're nearly done with these. Go to the Vending Machines and come back. Optimal route: Left 2, Down 1, Left 4, Up 4

Quest 37: Town Game Room B Left 2, Up 5, Left 1

Pure RNG, bet on all 5 possibilities to maximize your chances.

Quest 38: Town Game Room A Left 2

RNG. Nothing else.

Quest 39: Mushroom Stadium Left 4, Up 1, Left 7, Down 3, Left 2

Mash A to win. Semi-hard.

Quest 40: Mushroom Field Left 2

Mash A and B. Easy.

Quest 41: Spear Thicket Left 2, Up 4, Left 4, Down 1, Left 4, Down 3, Left 5

You have to be Mario or Luigi to do this quest. Normal Punches do 1 heart, Super Punches do 3 hearts. Not too hard, AI is easy.

Switch to Yoshi (an alternative is Mario, he has a slightly longer route but has more green spaces on the way) Pipe House: Right 7, Down 2, Left 3, Down 3, Left 1, Down 1, Left 3

There's no routing for Pipe House, you can do the pipes in any order you want. I'll list the games below and some tips to do them. Since there's a lot of Minus Spaces, you'll probably die at least once or twice. If you can, restart instead of dying as it is faster.

Purple Pipe: Bowser Lab Choose "The scary one?" to get access to the minigame. Play some curling. It's hard.

Orange Pipe: Bowser Game Hall Just bet 1 and guess where the Koopa is 3 times. It's incredibly easy.

Yellow Pipe: Bowser Toy Shop Answer 5 questions about Toad Force V to access the minigame. Here's the questions and their answers: What letter is on Toad Force V's forehead? V What is Toad Force V? A robot What does Toad Force V fight for? Peace What is the famous line in episode 28? I'm an iron 'shroom! What is the name of Toad Force V's hero? Jack

For the minigame, press A if your face pops up. Otherwise, press B.

Black Pipe: Bowser Hideout Oh man, RNG? Yes. Just go for the higher chance.

The minigame is just press the button at the right time. It's easy, but it's so slow.

Pink Pipe: Bowser Pad HAHAHAHA DELIVERIES OPTIMAL ROUTE Out of Pipe House: Right 3, Up 1, Right 1, Up 3, Right 7, Up 2, Right 1, Up 1, Right 2 Buy the Ring from the Item Shop, then go back.

The minigame is simple, just run past the Koopa Kids when they're not looking. Can be a bit hard, especially with bad RNG.

Red Pipe: Bowser Mansion He's lying about the mansion. After that, smash the Koopa Kids. Easy.

Light Blue Pipe: Mt. Frostbite Answer his 3 jokes correctly to access the minigame.

  1. A boa tie!
  2. See you next fall!
  3. Wait 'til tomorrow.

After that, CRUSH THINGS WOOOOOO (it's actually a bit hard, good luck)

Blue Pipe: Bowser Stadium Shoot 3 times in the middle to get access to the minigame.

For the minigame, shoot the Koopa Kids. If you press R to reload right after shooting, you can shoot faster afterwards. Practice this.

Quest 50: Final Showdown Oh snap, we're finally here! This mini-game is kind of difficult. R is your trap card, opens all traps. Other than that, make sure none of the Koopa Kids get to you. There's a certain rhythm to making the Koopa Kids drop.

Timing stops when the screen fades to black after getting the last gadget

I seriously doubt this is final. If you find something, let me know and I'll add it. And as always, may the RNG be with you.
