General Strategy

Pick a solid playbook with a sweep-type run play audible. In my world record case, the Broncos (no bias). Choose either the AFC or the NFC team and go against the Browns (the worst rated overall). Spam the start and the A/B buttons to skip the coin toss cutscene. If receiving: GGs! You basically secure the sub-7. Spam the A button to exit the playbook pretty much immediately and audible as fast as possible to your run play. Try to get to midfield, but not farther or less, so that the quarter-end cutscene is as short as possible. Run down the clock as much as possible so you end the half on a buzzer-beater field goal. In the second half, there isn’t as much strategy for defense, but just try to get sacks and keep the ball inbounds. If you are lucky, you could get possession again via fumble or interception, but both are exceedingly rare so don’t count on it. After the Browns have exhausted their timeouts, just QB kneel through the rest of the 4th, and you are a champion!
