All codex entries and how to get them

Entries 1-11 are skills that you level up or preform.

1. Running: Level up Running once.
2. Jumping: Level up Jumping once.
3. Healing: Level up Healing once.
4. Fortitude: Level up Fortitude once.
5. Collecting: Level up Collecting once.
6. Relationship: Level up Relationship once. (give 50 gems to "The Boy")
7. Interaction: Level up Interact once. (Talk to NPCs or interact with mail boxes.)
8. Sleeping: Level up Sleep once. (ending day 0 will grant this codex entry.)
9. Idle: Level up Idle once. (stand still, no inputs.)
10. Knowledge: Level up Learn once. (completion %)
11. Air Recovery: Preform an air recovery. You do this by hitting the jump button immediately after taking damage.

Entries 12-16 are the skills that you buy.
12. Double Jump - Bought from Joe for 100 gems or Joy for 50 after meeting her special requirement.
13. Dash - Bought from Fingers for 150 gems, or rewarded from fleet by completing his course in under 1 minute.
14. Regenerate - Bought from Gordon(John Freeman's Brother) for 100 gems, or Momma for 50 after meeting her special requirement.
15. Hardinesss - Bought from Brains for 150 gems or Hulker for 50 after meeting his special requirement.
16. Radar - Bought from Junior for 150 gems or Nails for 50 after meeting his special requirement.

Entries 17-30 are NPCS
17. The Girl - You start with this entry.
18. The Boy - Talk to the boy at the beginning
19. Fleet - Talk to Fleet, below your house but above the magma cave.
20. Joy - Talk to her in Earth village
21. Nails - Talk to him in Earth village.
22. Hulker - Talk to him in Earth village.
23. Momma - Talk to her in Earth village.
24. Joe - Talk to him in Sky village.
25. Fingers - Talk to him in Sky village.
26. Gordon - Talk to him in the Church.
27. Brains - Talk to him in sky village.
28. Junior - Talk to him in sky village.
29. Computer - Use the computer in the sacred grounds. (during a 100% run, do this last!)
30. Mains Water Supply - Hit the switch in the small room in the magma cave.

31-35 are enemies.

31. Oiler - Get hit by an Oiler. (black ball)
32. Spiker - Get hit by a Spiker. (spikey stationary enemy.)
33. Big ol Wasp - Get hit by a wasp. (flying enemy.)
34. Frisbee Worm - Get hit by a worm. (worm found in magma cave and mine.)
35. Tyrant - Get hit by a tyrant. You have to touch the tyrant itself, not it's projectiles. Only found under the church.

37-47 are locations.

37. My House - You start with this.
38. Overground - Go to the area above your house.
39. Tunnels - Go to the area under your house (accessed from the west.)
40. Mine - Go to the south east portion of the map. Under the tower.
41. Magma Cave - Go to the very bottom of the map. 
42. Giant Tree - Go to the north west corner of the map.
43. The Tower - Go to the north east corner of the map
44. Sky Village - Go to the village, this connects to the north western part of "The Tower"
45. Earth Village - Go to the south west corner of the map.
46. Church - Middle north part of the map.
47. Sacred grounds - Go to the area that is just north west of your house. (doublejump+jumpLvl5 or 100gems needed.)

48-55 are misc.

48. Magical Gems - Collect one gem.
49. Dark Gems - Beat the nightmare boss to obtain this.
50. Huge Gems - Collect one of the four giant gems.
51. Postboxes - Touch a mailbox
52. Lava - Damage yourself on lava in the "Magma Cave"
53. Water Pump - Pull the lever in the little room in the "Magma Cave"
54. Lock - examine the little console right outside of the sacred grounds. You do not need to pay it money.
55. Codex - Open the codex menu.
56. Internet Awareness - Talk to brains numerous times. (I think it's 3 after you have the ability he sells.)

Basics - 5 Skills

The main idea of the game is to get your five main skills to max level and talk to the computer. There are certain strategies that help raise your stats a little faster.

Run - This builds up while running and staying on the ground while moving. Sliding during a turn around yields less XP than regular movement. (Credit :TaranBaron.)

Jump - This builds up based on air time after a jump. Whenever you're falling off a ledge, you want to jump instead of walking off if you're trying to build this stat.

Healing - As the name implies, this is how fast you heal. To heal in the beginning, you have to stand still and that will start to build back your health. Standing is slow, so buying the ability "Regenerate" in the church as early as possible helps build this stat passively throughout the run. The Regeneration ability lets your health build up while preforming any action, albeit slower than standing still. 

Fortitude - This is your defense. It builds up from taking hits. However, taking hits that apply more damage in one hit builds the stat faster. So, taking three hearts of damage in one hit gives more exp  than if you took the same amount of damage in multiple hits. This is why hitting yourself on Spikers is one of the best ways to build it.

Collect - This builds up by gathering gems. The higher the stat, the bigger your pickup radius. There's no special strats or knowledge with leveling this up, but remember that with the bigger pickup radius you can pick up gems through walls and floors. It's good to keep it mind.
