North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany@SlushPuppy the "fastest" might be correct, but if we talk about USEFUL, than i'd say "no, only in tas"...see thie shere e.g. 1) you could never execute this in rta, only one frame of failure-input and everything is destroyed...plus 2) in the game a that long line/distance of straight movement simply doesnt exist...but yeah, the fastest it is indeed :)
I assume, you refer to an "AutoSplitter" ...sadly there ain't such for SM64, but for other games there's.

i think reducing lag aint an emu-explicit thing...with clever camera-movement etc you can achieve it in DDD on actual console too

Idk how strict you are with beeing mercifully and verfifying or resctricting...but imo this run ( https://www.speedrun.com/Geometry_Dash/run/yl9jgg3y ) isn't 100% by not collecting the coin at 15:47...I don't wanna put the runner in a bad light, I'm just curious...sry if this is inappropriate :/
EDIT: just noticed, he restarted the level AFTER finishing up...because he didn't do it at once, I didn't expect that still to happen, so a big sorry for the potential blame at this point right away by my side at the runner! But another question consequently: Of course, re-entering that stage is allowed, but don't have all 3 coins per each level to be collected in one run with finishing? I mean, the same way as it doesn't last to collect them and exit world I would've thought, doing e.g. the "easy" 2 ones first so you got them for sure, and then trying over and over again for the third till you got it, would be unintentional. Because - for me at least - the real chalenge never was to collect one of them in a single full-run, but to collect all of them 3... Interested in your answers! :)
