If it's too long for you to read here's a summary:
- It has always been banned
- It's an unofficial release
- The loads are extremely fast which gives an extremely large advantage
- It's easy to cheat
- There is an unofficial emulator board but it isn't updated often. You can reach out to the owner about it though.
You also don't need a capture card to run on console, you can just point a phone/camera at the screen and that form of proof is perfectly acceptable. You can also run on emulator without submitting but if you have the ability to run on Wii I would highly recommend not doing so, especially if you plan on switching to Wii in the future because emulator input delay is much different.

yes, there will be both 3D World and Bowser's Fury categories. i imagine there will be a both games category if the games make sense to run together.
I believe Astix was the person who did it so ask him about it.
there will be new channels created in the discord somewhere around the time of the game's release that will be specific to BF
Blindfolded is way too difficult of a category in this game to be added (at least, as of right now). I believe the farthest anyone has gotten blindfolded is 5-1.
There’s a way to sort the leaderboard like that, it’s just kind of a pain to setup iirc. Subcategories exist as well which would potentially be easier but I’m not sure. Regardless, the fact that it wont get added makes discussing this feature mostly pointless.

It's not "as hard as 0 star," it's way harder, literally impossible for a human to perform.
They probably double clicked the send button which sent it twice, considering the messages were sent at the same time.
like pear said, sharing ROMs is illegal and will probably result in a site ban. You can either do a quick google search or rip it from a disc of your own.
Also know that emulator runs are banned from the leaderboard, but you can still do runs and submit to the unofficial emulator leaderboard.
I say you should run whatever you want!

Toads respawn infinitely and iirc there's a few different levels in each world that they can spawn in.

I've heard that the most someone has gotten RTA is 10 but I don't know if that's true or not. Regardless, that's nowhere near enough to get enough speed to clip. Unless we find a way to clip through the 50 and 70 star doors with something other than speed, it most likely wont happen non-TAS.
It's not RTA viable as it's way too precise. At least that's what my testing showed.
