It was also released on the FDS not the NES
Recently there has been a new modified version of Duck Hunt that is altered to allow it to work on LCD TVs. Since we do not know if the RNG works the same or not and the games speed is changed I, feel that it should be banned. I would like to hear the community’s thoughts on this
Oops. Well that sucks. Alright, I’ll just run the original route then
No. That’s why we run 2 duck mode. You can only control the ducks in 1 duck mode
you still need to hold down turbo buttons. and I'm assuming its fire route
Since you can't change the character during the run I think it would be right if there were different categories for the different characters like on the Castlevaina 3 and Super Mario Bros. 2 leaderboards
BBG in all stars softlocks the game
I’m not submitting to this leaderboard anymore. I’m done
The run I posted on here was done on console and with all the same difficulty settings as the first place run. I know no one will believe that so I’m not even going to bother submitting it. And thank you@DarQ_Massacres, the title is just a typo. I’ll fix that
Sorry for the late reply. The request has been sent
Thank you @nixfumbles. The rules for this game need to be more specific in my opinion. It would be nice to have runs that had something to do with the robbers too since that’s what the game is about
So if I submit a run with all the exact same game settings as the number 1 spot will it be varied or rejected?
I have a repro little Samson cartridge and I was wondering if it was alright if I used it in runs since an original cartridge is extremely hard to obtain
I found this messing around with some game genie codes a few months ago. It’s kinda like smb2j where you can wrong warp back to the beginning of the stage
After testing the game on the Atari Flashback I noticed that the flashing screen transitions that happen in between mazes is not present. The transitions can take about 3-5 seconds and that would give a massive unfair advantage, especially in the longer runs. I don't think any runs on the board use the flashback but I think it would be a good idea to to ban them before anyone submits a run with it
The difficulty switch on the console determines your speed. In your video you can see that your difficulty switch (the one that says F4) is to the right, which means you are on speed 2. If you have the switch set to the other side you can see how it slows down
