this is unrelated but the dropdowns for the support hub are literally white on white LMAOOO
There have been quite a few changes to the RB5 speedrunning community in the past few days, and this post is intended to catalog all such changes for transparency:
Major Changes:
- A new cheating policy has been outlined.
- A RB5 IGT mod has been created. You can find the download for it in the Resources page, and it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you use the mod for any IL attempts in order to get accurate times.
- Time now starts on the first completely black frame after selecting or restarting the level, as opposed to the first frame that gameplay is visible. This is so that times are standardized with the new IGT mod. All times (including obsolete runs) will be converted to this new timing method over the next week or so.
Minor Changes:
- You must now submit your run with the date that SRC automatically assigns.
As far as I know, this should cover all of the leaderboard changes so far. Let me know if I've missed anything (i.e. a typo in the category rules or an inaccurate mistime), and feel free to reply to this post with any comments, questions, or concerns.
The copy of Flash Player in the Resources section should allow everyone to run the game, but if it really doesn't work for you, you can try downloading Flashpoint instead: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/.
BOP BOP BOP
It is allowed if it bops hard enough.

It's been about a month and forum notifications are still broken.
OK, the new redesign for user pages isn't BAD, but did we really need a redesign when there's so many other issues to take care of first? And that's not to mention the Resources tab getting wiped out...
@MrMonsh Thanks for the workaround, but yeah that's really silly. Let's see if Elo can listen to their users for once and fix this mess.
For me the front page still does not show nearly as many runs as it did before. I want to be bombarded by new runs, what I currently see is pitiful.
Seriously, who the hell wanted this redesign? Fix the bugs plaguing your site before you do this shit, Elo.
It seems that the Verify/Reject buttons do not appear when the submitted run is obsolete.
@KrishnaDas As @MarioMario7829 said, you have to use the standalone download version. It can be found inside the Definitive Collection files here: https://www.speedrun.com/redball1/resources .
Alternatively, you can also use the downloads in the "Resources" tab to the left.
Requesting that the "Fangame" tag be removed from https://www.speedrun.com/redball5 . While it was not made by the same developer of the other Red Ball games, it was nevertheless still made with his approval.
@ultimatehadcore Um, what? So much run-on sentence here that your post isn't really readable. Make a short, coherent post for us to read over so we can actually understand the issue at hand, please.
There are quite a lot of tricks in Any% Warpless - you can check them out in the guide @Zeus2459 made here: https://www.speedrun.com/gssh1/guide/lsnsq .
I'm curious as to why you think of glitches as "cheating". As far as I'm aware, glitches have been a part of speedrunning ever since its inception.
