Hi everyone! So I just wanted some clarification and some advice to be honest. I'm an OG DMC player, new speedrunner. I was just wondering if everyone does the M3 oob skip before Artemis and if I HAVE to learn it or can I just continue glitchless? I checked a few of the runs on here and most people seem to use that strat? I ask because I kinda wanna run it properly without glitches and skips etc, just vanilla speedrun but still NG+ which is already nooby af as it is I know lol ( not like I'm gonna be that great at it anyways but I just don't like glitches that much)

You don't have to do it, but there are no separate categories for no oob etc. But doing that is by no means required to submit your run.
Just keep in mind that a bunch of the "skips" we do are built into the levels, like m2, m8, and m12, for example, and are 100% dev intended (there is even a red orb bonus for completing m12 the way we do), so I'd definitely recommend at least learning those. M3 and M9 are kind of the exceptions in that regard.
