I've found that you can use the glide/ corrupted double jump in order to scale any flat vertical wall, no matter how tall, by jumping off of the wall, then immediately gliding back to the wall and jumping off of it again, repeating the process until you get over the wall.
Yes, however if you are able to corrupt the double jump for the glide, you're also able to corrupt the dash, which ends up being much more useful in terms of vertical climbing.
Quite possibly, but as I haven't corrupted that, I wouldn't know. Thank you for the advice! I have noticed that if the wall has any irregularity in shape, the glide trick is essentially useless, it just so happened I was able to use it in the absence of the grappling hook in order to get to the gravity boots early.
