This may not be the kind of thing that should be posted here so if need be please just delete it but I am having an odd problem in Final Egg in the steam version. When I grab the missile to end act 1 Sonic doesn't let go in time (more often than not) and falls this his death. Video of this happening here, . Am I doing something foolishly wrong or am I approaching this wrong?
This keeps happening to me, I just learnt to leave it for a few seconds and let the cannon aim down then grab the rocket
Thanks that seems to have helped. Still find it odd since I never had that problem on the GC but oh well, different version, different problems lol thanks for the help!
"Final Egg question" Sky Chase ;) Remember your levels. Either way, it's weird you encountered that when the canon was facing you directly... I've had it do this when it was facing away so, as Ross said, I'd let it have a second as it may be settling in to a spot or something bs like that. SADX and its glitches.
Yeah, remember your levels. Last time I checked sky chase is a subgame with a plane attacking the egg carrier and tails crashing.
Also don't play the steam version. Not only is it slower than the older pc release it also has some weird bugs. I recommend getting the 2004 official pc release.
Can't have a little fun on forums if you can't post random levels :p also I feel like Steam would be the alternative until disc has a camera that doesn't suck complete ass. Sky Chase 3 episode 1 glitches all day, yo.
Well, the current mod we have sufficiently fixes their 1 byte error in the code so that it stores correctly like it does on the steam version. VeritasDL knows far more about it than I do, however it does infact work.
Edit: The mod I'm referring to would be CCEF, Camera Code Error Fix. It makes the the game's camera run exactly like steam's camera does. It should be in the resources on here.
I've ran with that camera and can safely say it does not run the same way albeit that is a problem for another thread.
Hi all, just an update on the console boards...
XBLA and PSN have been separated into different sub-categories. While this may stifle competition in the console boards overall, it should make things more fair.
I have manually retimed all of the XBLA runs above a certain time threshold without cuts
