I'm pretty sure the physics behave differently when running the game at different refresh rates, so I wonder if running it at higher refresh rates is allowed in the same category or not allowed at all?

what do you mean by "allowed in the same category or not allowed at all"
but just saying for no lag abuse the max fps is 75 and the minimum is 60
