Backswing Wallclipping: ESSENTIAL if running any%18ing+/2ing Back Swing through walls+barriers such as Pus Eye wall/IT Ending and beginning walls/Rave Out of Bounds from start/Sewers back in bounds/Elevator door skips (allow you to avoid opening door cutscenes for any%/2ing. Check Some Shadowthepast 18ing any% runs or join the discord for reference.
Multi-Dashing: to perform either precisely time or mash the dash button. Doesnt need to be mashed.
Bounce boost. If you input TWO Jumps as you are sent up by any launching platforms/boxes/etc you will gain a massive amount of height.
Swing boost: essential skill to master. Requires 2 cans. Learn to time your boost presses and swing releases to get more speed. A generally fast movement method is double jump, dash, swing boost
Exit skipping. Pause and return to hub to avoid using an exit (note for routing some exits are better to take like Club Luxuria) make sure the cherub in the bottom right of your screen is done flying to register the item pick up (YOU CAN WAIT WHILE PAUSED use the loadskipper so you don't gain time). This saves alot of time in the whale and some other levels.
Saving your double jump: when traversing it is good to try and use you swings and dashes before using your double jump to allow yourself more control.
Swing refreshing. Touch a lip or small surface to get your jumps and swings back. Youd be surprised how many surfaces you can land on to refresh.
Horn boost swing. When swinging hit your boost horns in between swings to gain significant speed and distance.
Cutscene skips. If you download the load remover through "resources" you can save time by save and exiting to menu during the cutscene after the first room and many others. Including ingredient cutscenes and chef cutscenes.
Easy dark room. Use high gamma in settings to easily see the dark room. Also default horn ability works
